Tonight is the night, The sounds of cheering spectators echoed throughout the arena. 

Chanting the two main competitors' names and monikers, Amid the roaring cheers of the spectators around the stadium.

As the atmosphere of the arena is booming with excitement and anticipation, outside of the lively and boisterous arena.

"LUKE! LUKE! LUKE! LUKE! LUKE! LUKE!"

Chanting his name and addressing him as the shining star.

"SHINING STAR! SHINING STAR! SHINING STAR! SHINING STAR!"

"RYU! RYU! RYU! RYU! RYU! RYU! RYU! RYU!"

Chanting his and addressing him as the moonlit blossom.

"MOONLIT BLOSSOM! MOONLIT BLOSSOM! MOONLIT BLOSSOM! MOONLIT BLOSSOM!"

Inside the quiet and silent locker room, Luke is sitting on the bench listening to music through his blue wireless earbuds.

The song he is listening to is "Shine Brilliant" by Peyton Harrington which is one of his favorite songs.

He approached the ring with a fierce determination to defeat the legendary champion, going through the ropes and walking towards Ryu.

Luke introduced himself to Ryu as the challenger to take the championship title from him, at first glance, Ryu didn't respond to him instead he sharply exhaled and stared directly at him with a serious expression on his face.

"Hey I'm Luke "Shining Star" Sullivan"

"OK, Not much of a talker huh?"

Ryu didn't respond once again, instead merely coldly glaring at him.

He knew that he was going to be tested by the young hotshot, Luke was getting annoyed with Ryu's silence.

The lingering tension between them is so thick, they could cut it with a knife.

Eventually, Ryu introduced himself to the young hotshot and the challenger.

Being taken aback by Ryu's introduction, Luke asked him if he was into girls or guys.

Ryu was taken aback by Luke's question about his sexuality but he sincerely answered honestly.

"Hello I'm Ryu"

"Ryu, are you into girls or guys?"

"Excuse me?"

"Let me ask you again, are you into guys or girls?"

*Ryu sighs*

"Yes, I'm into guys"

"Wait, You're into guys"

"Yes, I'm into guys but it doesn't mean I'm going to be easy on you"

"Hey, I don't need you to be easy on me I just want a good entertaining match"

"You kind of remind me of Ken a little bit"

The sound of the bell rings for the match, as the two strategize for each other's weak spots and points that they can export for an advantage. 

*Bell Rings*

"Wow, this match between Ryu and Luke is going to be amazing"

"The two competitors are intensely focusing on each other"

Ryu grabbed Luke by his right arm put him in an armbar, and stretched out of Luke's right arm causing him to yell loudly.

"I have you!"

*Ryu clutched Luke's right arm*

"Huh?, Ugh!"

*Being grabbed*

*Sound of Struggling*

As Luke struggles to get out of Ryu's hold, utilizing his long legs to escape from the armbar by putting it on the bottom rope.

"Wow, Luke is utilizing his long legs to escape the hold"

"That's a pretty good move for Luke utilizing his tall height to escape the hold that Ryu has him in"

"That's a brilliant strategy for Luke to escape it"

"Luke got to the bottom rope"

The referee stopped Ryu from furthering his hold on the right arm, Luke got up from the mat and encircled the ring.

"Let's go"

"This is amazing Luke is testing Ryu from the first round"

"Ryu is getting annoyed but he is ready for it"

"Of course, He gets annoyed because Luke is replacing him"

"Seriously I think Ryu is a legend and he can't be replaced by the Shining Star"

"They begin their dance"

Ryu and Luke clasped each other's hands and engaged in a test of strength, Their hold on one another is tightening and yet feeling so intimate.

"Hey Ryu, do you want to engage in a test of strength?"

"Fine I will engage with you"

"Alright then let's do it"

"Are you eager to win"

"Trust me I will beat you and take the belt"

"Don't make me laugh"

Luke gives him a sweet smile which catches Ryu off-guard and reminds him of his first-ever match against Ken, Ryu smiles back at Luke.

"He just gave me a sweet smile, it reminded me of Ken"

"Damn, I felt like I'm fighting Ken all over again"

"Hey you're smiling it's kind of cute"

"Don't act like I'm going to be easy on you"

"Oh you're mad huh it's kind of cute"

Ryu stops the test of strength by putting him in an armbar once again, furthering his hold on Luke's right arm and causing further pain for Luke.

"Ryu going for the right arm of Luke"

"Luke is feeling the pain"

Luke utilizes the armbar as a cover against Ryu, physically pinning him to the mat.

"Wait a minute he's utilizing the arm bar as a cover"

"Wow, this is an amazing turnaround for Luke"

"Now, Ryu is feeling the pain of the upcoming defeat"

The referee sees the cover goes to where Luke and Ryu are, and starts to pinfall count.

{POUND!}

"1…"

{POUND!}

"2…"

"Ryu kicked out at two"

"Wow, this is a close one"

"Luke is fierce and determined to be the victor"

"Ryu needs to watch out for Luke"

Luke lifted Ryu up from the mat and turned him around, and he wrapped his arms around Ryu's waist from behind.

Luke performed a German suplex on Ryu, locking him in place for the pinfall.

When the referee saw the cover, he quickly went over to count.

{POUND!}

"1…"

{POUND!}

"2…"

Ryu doesn't want to accept that he is going to be beaten by Luke Sullivan, but eventually, he has to accept it because he cannot be champion forever, and besides that, he's getting older and the title is weighing him down.

As the cheers got louder and louder, The referee finally said three and the bell rang.

{POUND!}

"3..."

*Ring Ring Ring*

"The winner is Luke Sullivan!"

Wow, a beautiful ending to this awesome match!"

"Phew!, that was a close one"

Ryu and Luke having a conversation about relationships and life with a tinge of flirtatious overtones.

Having a passionate making-out session with one another, being unaware of everybody else, noticed that something was going on between them. 

When they finished making out they noticed that they had some romantic attraction to each other.

Hey if Ryu and Ken are finally at a stage of their lives, do they realized that they can act on their romantic feelings for each other?

Thank you for the question! I like to think they can't help but act on their feelings if they meet again. There's speculation it's been 5 or so years since the Nayshall attack. After all this time, Ken always brings up Ryu with our avatar. Eventually, Ryu can't stop talking about Ken to us either.

Ken seems so vulnerable, pushing everyone away. I think he'd do the same to Ryu but Ryu wouldn't let him. Ryu's insistence, and Ken haven't spoken to his beloved friend, or ANYONE is enough I think he'd relent, and want comfort from Ryu.
