what song from RPWP fits the image/aesthetic of Single Daffodil Yoongi to you??? I was re-reading chapter 3-4 while listening to the album & that's the only thing i could think about hehe

I'll be so honest, I haven't actually listened to the album yet! I kind of stopped listening to a lot of the new kpop stuff because I found it a bit mentally draining, but if I did have to put a song (not from RPWP) it'd probably be People off the D2 album.

I think it's a good representation of how the Yoongi I wrote just wants a normal life where he's not forced to live the life his parents want. I think it also does a good job of talking about his relationship with people, they're kind of just passing by around him and he finds it difficult to make real connections, and people end up misjudging him all the time.

I think I would also relate it to how he's not exactly a bad or good person, or at least that's how I tried to portray him. He doesn't want to be mean to the MC, but he wants to stay separated from her, so he tries to give her the same privileges he wants for himself, ie privacy, an open relationship, freedom etc. I really wanted my story to be different from other arranged marriages where I didn't want yoongi to be an outright asshole, I wanted people to understand where he was coming from. I also wanted him to have an organic relationship development with the MC, where the attraction starts as only physical but slowly develops to emotional.

Anyway, sorry for the rant and I know it wasn't exactly the answer you were looking for, but I hope you liked what I had! Thanks so much for reading and im so happy you're enjoying the story and relating it to other things outside of it, I love to see people engaging with my work like that.

As for the name, I loove flowers, my favorite are Dahlias because my family had some absolutely beautiful ones in our front yard that would grow back every spring! But I chose daffodil because it symbolizes unrequited love, and a single daffodil because maybe things aren't as unrequited as they seem 👀

With the next chapter,, I've only just started working on it. Tbh, life has been a lot lately and I kind of lost my motivation hard lmao. I've also started a full time job recently and I'm living at home because my car crashed 💀, so it's hard to find time, but I am working on it I promise! I don't know if I can really give you a date, but hopefully by the end of next week, thank you guys for being so patient!!
