She has a stellar, if not supernatural, sense of intuition - often being able to eeriely predict a person’s future just by reading the palm of their hand. Consequently, many students on campus are often freaked out by her ‘psychic’ abilities and would very much stay away from her. But Daniel finds himself fascinated by her gift and is compelled to get to know her better. Daniel eventually grows comfortable around Lucy and they both develop a close bond. He takes all of her predictions to heart, especially the one where she tells him that he’ll never have to fear abandonment again.
