Your Beach Hut is KITTED TF OUT. A beautiful space to lounge, with a sofa that could fit the entire Nekoma team on (they visited once). It has an ensuite shower, with water that falls like it was straight out of the rainforest. It's perfect. Kenma isn't the type that strikes me as an adventurer, nor someone that particularly likes outdoor spaces, so he'll definitely make sure that your little home by the shore accommodates for the both of you- --- He gestures to the cushioned mattress of the in-built bed he had installed. It was right next to his desk, and his custom PC. "So we're staying in here?" You shrug, gesturing to the window displaying the outside world shining behind you. "Well, yeah. I mean, Kenma, we can go for a walk too-" "Yeah, that's great but, the hut - like, this place - we can stay, right? It's pretty much got everything we want-" "Except sand." You add. "And the sea." "Why would you want sand? That stuff gets in between your toes..." ---

Given any day out, he'll bring his Switch, or his phone with a number of addictive games, or his GameBoy and Donkey Kong Country. They're sort of a package deal. He'll grab any spare minute of the day to beat his personal high score; when he's waiting in line for your ice cream order, when you're sunbathing and he's perched underneath an umbrella. You work around it; you have your ways to relax, he has his own.

He may know what he likes and dislikes, but you remind him that going out of his comfort zone every once in a while makes him into a better person, to know himself a lot more - to surprise himself. You're the one that usually plans (even roughly) the holidays, the trips abroad, and the days out on the Beach Hut, and he takes your hand eagerly. He gets pretty exhausted at the end of the day, but you account for that in your schedule. The both of you will always have dinner at your favourite restaurant, and end the day with a chill evening on your hammock. You’ll slot in between his legs, and lie on his chest whilst he games (with the volume on low, of course), the small console across your chest. He'll find you difficult to ignore however; your sleepiness contagious, and slow breathing hypnotic enough to make his eyelids droop. Eventually, Kenma will cave into the snooze. The heat, and the quiet, and your resting body close to his, sending him into a deep sleep.

the more I talk with little boba about my experiences with my friends and life in general the more I realize the things I pass off as quirky life experiences have been inherently traumatizing ahsjshsh. the weight these stories carry may at first glance seem like funny stories and just another eccentric thing in the comedy special that is my life but I now realize why I crave to just lie down and have a cup of green tea and honey. I just ache and long to be understood, loved, and appreciated and consistently throughout my friendships I've received invalidation and just down right shitty behaviour. but again I'm here to say it gets better. protecting your boundaries becomes easier. connecting with and loving more amazing people becomes smoother. and eventually loving yourself becomes a lighter burden as well. if I can do it and laugh through the strangeness of it all I'm sure you can too. good night dash!!!
