For me it's very similar to my experiences being cupioromantic, I don't know if this example will make sense and it certainly doesn't apply to everyone, but here's an incredibly over simplified example:

Therian: "I AM a cat, you might not be able to see it, but I AM."

Otherhearted: "I SHOULD be a cat, I am human, but I SHOULDN'T be."

I’m struggling a lot with identifying whether I’m felinekin or felinehearted. Descriptions of otherhearted just makes me more confused? If otherhearted is experiencing shifts, traits, and behaviors which can be like therianthropy, and therianthropy is experiencing that + in a lot of cases a deep connection with your theriotype which can be like otherhearted, how do you tell the difference?? What is the difference? Internally to me identifying with feels the same as identifying as…. so I don’t know. I need help 😓
