And I have no answers! Jk, in short, there was a massive hiatus that ended on oct 25, 2011. Andrew hussie acted like the one page update he posted was the comics conclusion or something. That, plus the sheer length of the hiatus, caused so many fans to be on the homestuck page at one time that the site broke. It was a massive deal as everyone was so excited for the gigapause to be over, but no one could even see the update because the site crashed. This comic is meant to emulate the sheer chaos of it all.
