haechan hates this.

he hates that you're in his bed, mad at him. your back to him in complete silence. he can’t sleep which makes it worse– he doesn’t have someone to answer his redundant questions, to make jokes with or to share his mindless thoughts too because he knows you listen.

today, you drew the line on haechan. he went to far on a joke during dinner and you had enough. you’ve been mad at him ever since, haechan feels horrible for what he did and he apologized many times after it happened but was fruitless when you stayed quiet with him even after getting ready for bed

he didn’t know if you were doing this to spite him or if you were genuinely upset because he could tell the difference, or he thinks he can tell the difference. haechan let’s out a hopeless sigh and shifts in bed for the thirtieth time that night– yes you’ve counted. as much as you couldn’t take the silence, you really wanted haechan to understand what he had done wrong even if he looked like a dejected puppy while doing so. your lover repeats the same actions for another five times and doesn’t seem like he’s gonna put it to rest anytime soon.

“why do you keep sighing, what’s wrong?” your tone is low and curt. it startles haechan, shifting his head to see that you're now facing him. eyes closed with your hands beneath your head. a rush of guilt pulses through haechan as he looks at you with a heavy gaze. you can’t see him but knows what his expression is like: pouted lips with furrowed brows afraid to say a word to you. you’ve never gotten like this towards him, he’s only seen it when you got upset at mark for breaking your favorite vase. now that it’s towards him haechan doesn’t know what to do with himself.

“i c-couldn’t sleep.” he responds in a soft voice, slightly faltering.

“why’s that?” you inquire a sigh leaving your lips, awaiting his reason.

“i can’t sleep with you upset at me.” he mumbles, as if he was embarrassed to tell you. you find it endearing but right now you’re supposed to be mad at him. you flutter your eyes to see haechan inches away from you with the exact expression you had visioned in your head.

“well should’ve thought about that before making that joke.” you mutter changing positions in bed alike to what he’s been doing for the past hour. a dejected expression graces his face as he watches you turn on your back, staring at the ceiling.

“i didn’t mean for it to go that far baby, i really didnt. i’m sorry y/n.” he huffs a bit before turning away from you, a familiar burn in his eyes which he tries to will away by stuffing his face into his pillow all while a thought floats into his head. at the thought he lets out a low whine– caring less if you think he’s acting a fool right now.

“what’s wrong, why are you doing that?” shifting your head to the side to look at him, dark shadows of him only visible against the moonlight, irritation threaded through your brows.

“i really can’t sleep now– you always do this thing where you run your hands through my hair as i lay on you, i’m sorry y/n you must be really upset with me.” his voice is muffled as he explains but you instantly know what he means. using all this energy being upset at haechan makes you really realize how much you miss him. how much you miss his presence, his voice, his touch. maybe he’s forgiven, for now. wordlessly you reach for his arm, willing him to closer to you. though surprised, haechan follows in a heartbeat, placing his head in the crook of your neck, his arms naturally moving around your waist and finally your fingers threading through his hair just like he explained earlier. your lover lets out a sigh of content and he snuggles closer to you.

“just so you know i’m still mad at you.”

“you can be mad at me later. let me enjoy this.”

Jeno usually isn’t the clingy type of guy, if anything he has people clinging to him. But since he’s been sick these past few days, my sweet sweet boyfriend had been resembling a little puppy needing attention all day everyday. 

I’m not complaining really but I had classes for the whole day and couldn’t check up on him. Jaemin promised to watch him but he stopped texting me update since noon so I was a bit worried. 

Quickly making my way to their dorm after class, I tried calling Jaemin but he wasn’t picking up and so was the rest of the boys residing in the dorm. 

I rang their doorbell twice and waited for someone to answer, 

“Is that you, Y/N? Please let it be you” I hear Na Jaemin scream from inside

“Oh thank god it’s you” he said when he saw me standing outside, “Why weren’t you answering my calls?” I asked him

“You’re boyfriend wouldn’t let go of my arm, I need to go to the bathroom. He’s still in his room” he said as he ran away

I made my way to Jeno’s bedroom, when I entered I really couldn’t see him since he’s under a pile of blankets.

He moved around underneath and called out for his bestfriend, 

“Did Y/N text yet? Her classes are done by now” he said, his voice still hoarse  and you could definitely tell he had a stuffy nose. 

I made my way to his bed and took the vacant space, “Hello, you were looking for me?” I asked him with a smile. 

He quickly popped his head up from under the blankets

“Hi” he said with a loopy smille on, I swear I felt my heart melt. Also, I don’t get how he looks this good even though he’s sick. 

“Hi, are you feeling any better?” I asked him, putting my hand on his forehead to check, “Yes, Jaemin cooked some soup”

“Did you drink some medicine?” he just nodded at my question, his eyes were already closed again, probably enjoying the feeling of my hand running through his hair

“Do you want anything, need anything else?”

“Cuddles” 

I really couldn’t say no to him when he’s being this adorable. So I took u p the space beside him, him still being under the thick blanket and me on top. 

“Missed you today” I hear him mumble

“I was gone for like 7 hours”

“That’s still too long” I feel his arm wrap tighter around me, making me smile a little bigger

“You’re cute like this, who knew you could be this clingy” I told him, I didn’t hear a reply from him but instead he just cuddled closer to me

After a while I feel him relax a bit, his arm were still around me and my hand still running through his hair

I hear someone knock on his door gently, 

“Noona, Jaemin hyung cooked some dinner” Jisung said, standing by the door

I gestured to the sleeping but still clinging on to me Jeno, the younger one nodded in understanding. He closed the door behind him gently, slowly I felt myself get a bit more sleepy, before completely dosing off I hear Jeno mumble a thank you

“Huh? what did you say, love?” I asked him quietly

“Nothing, just saying thank you for taking care of me” 

Instead of saying anything else, I just cuddled closer to him too. I feel him sigh in content before both of us drifted off to sleep.
