Hello Felix. Is ~8:00pm to late to attend the screening tonight?

Hey friend, not at all! We got a lot of films to get through, and luckily for you I think mine’s gonna be playing just after 8:00. See ya there, stranger!

Some jars I animated to be used as ident type things in a recent screening. The jars themselves were drawn by the talented and incredibly handsome Ariel Victor. I wanted to animate them straight ahead, but they needed to resolve themselves into Ariel's illustrations, so I animated them all backwards. It's a fun technique to play around with, "straight behind animation"- the end results are far from logical or naturalistic, but you still arrive at intrinsically satisfying movements.

now that you changed the appearance of your blog.. could you post the older header pic (the elephant) please? i really miss it... :(
