I haven't seen Breadsticks for 4 visits now (1 week) and I'm afraid they may be gone now. Alfredo, their sibling, has been showing up more. While I might not be able to form a connection with Alfredo like I did with Breadsticks I still can appreciate their company and get some nice photos of them.
"ai is making it so everyone can make art" Everyone can make art dipshit it came free with your fucking humanity

Literature-loving .chr files girlies on the brain tonight- I did this as a bit of a warm-up in all honesty.
(Also, Yuri would totally get obsessed with manga. Not only is there a fair level of world building to many series, there's visual symbolism and motif and minute character details to pick apart. Natsuki would lend her a volume and the next day Yuri hands her a 4-page essay on the panel layout.)
Some other things, on a more psychological level, that someone might experience following a nightmare (or at least in my experience):
intense derealization (believing things aren't real, a sense of 'jamais vu') or depersonalization (believing that one's memories and experiences aren't theirs, that they don't know who they are)
a distorted sense of time (believing dream events took place, thinking it's the wrong day)
Thought spirals (related or unrelated to the dream), distorted and illogical thinking patterns
A fear of falling back asleep, the need to seek out a distracting activity or stay awake using caffeine/sugar/etc.
Guilt or shame over the content of the dream or the fact they had a nightmare
Persistent unjustifiable fear or paranoia
Have fun inflicting those on some characters >:D
things people do after having a nightmare that isn’t crying
struggle to catch their breath
grab onto whatever’s close enough to ground themselves in reality
become nauseous / vomit
shake uncontrollably
sweat buckets
get a headache
things people do to combat having nightmares if they occur commonly
sleep near other people so they can hear the idle sounds of them completing tasks
move to a different sleeping spot than where they had the nightmare
leave tvs / radios / phones on with noise
just not sleep (if you want to go the insomnia route)
sleep during the day in bright rooms
things people with insomnia do
first, obviously, their ability to remember things and their coordination will go out the window
its likely they’ll become irritable or overly emotional
their body will start to ache, shake, and weaken
hallucinate if it’s been long enough
it becomes incredibly easy for them to get sick (and they probably will)
