OH MY STARS, YES!!! As a cryptid in a system with many vague/lesser known/unknown crytids, this would be so incredibly awesome. ~Mothy

You know whatβs so swell when being a primate alterhuman?
Having a hammock.
FOR REAL!!! It is SO! AWESOME!!! Replicating the feeling of having a nest/being in the trees/being just off the ground!!! AND I get my βgreen timeβ. I get to spend time just being in the air, surrounded by plants and hearing wildlife and also (surprisingly also cool) hearing people off in the distance in my town and neighborhood, but not like, having to interact persay. Itβs like people-watching but with sound!! And as someone who stims by focusing on sounds, this is such a cool experience!!
Be free, be green, and be a monkee in tree.
π
(ALSO I WENT TO THE PARK YESTERDAY AND SWUNG ON THE MONKEY BARS AND IT WAS SO MUCH FUN [also also I did a dead hang and it felt so good for my back])
I noticed you mention being some kind of primate therian? Which species? (if any in particular). I'm always curious to hear from other primate people.
Heya, Lopori!! It's BigBlueCat, I believe we've spoken a tad bit on OtherConnect a while back- Thanks for the ask! ^^
As for your question, I wish I knew too LMAO-
In all seriousness though, Iβm not sure yet- Iβve been questioning for almost a year now (I think?) and I have no definite answer yet haha.
I know that whatever type of identity I have (ie. hearttype, kintype, etc.), itβs a great ape; mayhaps all the great apes as a whole. I have considered the possibility of being a Great Ape Cladotherian, and it would make a lot of sense for my experiences! I have noticed that I feel a tad more connected to Orangutans, though! I also presume I am a tree-dweller, so that rules out a few ape species (definitely not human-kin LOL). Though while I have traits that would "rule out" some species, I also recognize that since my great ape identity is likely a psychological one, as opposed to spiritual, I think it's more likely that I may have a less defined -type. (Though it would be great to pin it down more- I love me some specifics, haha!)
A bit more rambly elaboration: As briefly mentioned before, I'm also not sure what "kind" of identity this is. I'm definitely leaning more toward heartedness and/or -kin. I feel as though the apes are family to me, and that we would understand each other better than with humans (obviously not like,, *literally* and in this body, but you catch my drift). Often with my hearttypes, I may define them as "I feel like I was meant to be born as/amongst this, but regardless I am *not* this", and this may be the case for this identity, but I'm not sure yet.
Sorry for the ramble ^^; It was super fun to write this all down though! Also great to see other primates around in this community!! :] Was also wondering if you know of any other primate alterhumans on tumblr? I'd love to follow some!
TL;DR: Not sure what species, but definitely a tree-dwelling ape. ^^

Though their initial mutations were the result of long term nuclear war, it's actually an intense culture of propaganda and strictly enforced conformity policies that have kept the Daleks in their current state. Every Dalek undergoes surgery just after birth; not to mitigate the effects of irradiation, but to rid them of whatever is legally considered "imperfections to the Dalek form" (usually throwbacks to a humanoid body plan, such as teeth and hands) and physically ready them for their casing. Additional surgeries must occur throughout a Dalek's life to prevent them from becoming "rooted" - a painful, often fatal scenario in which the Dalek overgrows their own shell and cannot be safely removed. Not only does their homogeneity serve to reinforce their fervent belief in genetic superiority, but the resulting chronic health issues prevent insurrection; a Dalek's fear of losing access to regular healthcare colors much of their judgement, and most attempts at dissent end as soon as their painkillers run dry.
