It was only five o’clock in the evening, but you were exhausted as you watched the sunset through the windows of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.  Slumped down in the uncomfortable chairs in your terminal, you smiled when you saw Shawn and a few of his crew members walk back to you with coffees in hand.

You loved seeing him surrounded by his road crew.  A different side of his personality shined through; for touring being so chaotic he always seemed so relaxed around the people he picked to bring on the road with him.  You heard the tail end of their conversation, the lighting director cracking a joke that had the three of them in stitches.

With two cups in hand, Shawn slid into the chair next to you and passed you your tea, “One earl grey with a splash of milk.”

You smiled as you wrapped your hands around the Starbucks cup.  The warmth of the cup sent shivers down your spine as it simultaneously heated you up, “Thanks.”

The pounding in your head was absolutely relentless, making you groan out in pain. You’re out on the road with Shawn for a few weeks, visiting him on tour and the last thing you wanted to deal with was a bout of migraines. You’d suffered from them for a few years and you’d think you’d have gotten used to them by now but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

You’re currently locked away in Shawn’s green room, trying everything you know to make the pain stop. He’s busy at soundcheck, so you’re taking full advantage of the empty room. You don’t want to tell Shawn, knowing he’d worry himself sick. You would feel so guilty if you took him out of the zone for his show. You usually watched him soundcheck but you decided it would be best to sit this one out. In your sickened state, you just hoped that he wouldn’t even notice you were gone. You definitely thought wrong.

Y/n had been lying down next to Aaliyah both of them going through the photos they had taken that day and editing them to post on Instagram. The bed shifts as Shawn dives on to it hoping to gain y/n’s attention but fails as both girls stay glued to their phones. Pouting to himself he crawls closer to his girlfriend wrapping his arms around her as he rested his head on her stomach. She diverts her attention from her phone for a brief second looking down at him and poking her tongue out playfully before turning her attention back to her phone.

“I’m bored.” Shawn huffs hoping to bring attention back to him once again.
