“So I said: “please love me,” and what I meant was: please treat me gently. Please love me with a love that can be felt. That can be touched. A love that I can write about gracefully if and when it ends. Which I may look upon with pacific eyes, and say: “that was a good love. It had to end but it was good.””

when a song completely embodies a feeling and for a few minutes, you’re taken to church. no matter how many times you play it, you always get lost in it: the lyrics, instruments, the vocals. when a song is so good you that you want to listen to it in a stadium, alone, and drown in the feeling of it. you know what i mean?
