Y'all....Portwell is taking over Twitter....

Like for the first time EVER when I checked the HSMTMTS tag its 90% Portwell content....

Our ship isn't just sailing, it's DOMINATING. They weren't just popular on Tumblr, Tiktok and Instagram loved them too, and FINALLY we're starting to take over Twitter.

Keep it up you guys, we are literally starting to wash out all the negativity that Twitter Rinas bring with our Portwell love. LET'S GO!

domestic portwell

portwell is one of the most domestic relationships on the show and i will die on that hill:

knitting: i love how gina asked ej to hold the ball of yarn for her in 2x08. i can just imagine gina knitting a ton of hats and scarves for him to wear. obviously he doesn't object because they are so well made.

being each other's person: both ej and gina trust one another completely and always know that the other will be there for them. ej bought gina the plane ticket back, picked her up from the airport, brought her a granola bar she forgot to pack, asked her out on a risotto date, helped her out at north high. gina always makes ej smile and knows how to give him amazing advice.

they bring each other so much joy and happiness, always lighting up and smiling. when gina was heartbroken and sad, ej was there to cheer her up and make her feel safe. ex. you're glowing, she's the best, he kind of saved me.

little moments matter: every single conversation is so important. ej remembered the risotto night from when they were fake dating at north high.

parallels: they say similar things such as not that i know of and were afraid to put themselves out there because of a past heartbreak. again, ej brought gina the granola bar she forgot earlier and airports seem to be a common theme throughout their relationship.

balancing emotions: ej and gina has such an awesome way of having both fun and intimate conversations. although they have lighthearted moments like during career day and at the airport for example, they both sat down in 2x08 and were able to talk about the future and how they view eachother.

sharing clothes: ej lay his family sweater on gina and she was comfortable enough to not only wear it to the airport, but also to customize it.

as if portwell wasn't adorable enough, the fact that they are comfortable enough to use nicknames like "g", "eej", and "babe" for eachother makes it so much better and i love them.

i have absolutely no idea when my life became watching portwell edits until past midnight and obsessing over a fictional ship but here we are. can’t say i’m mad about it.

hsmtmts 2x10 reaction

omfg. wow. i need a moment.

first of all, seb doing the recap was so adorable, but i'm still kinda hoping that we get a gina one before the end of the season.

ej saying that his house is bigger then ash's and gina giving him a sweet but scolding smile :D

when i tell you that i screamed when most of the others knew about portwell, i'm not exaggerating. it just goes to show that their heart eyes and fonding could not be hidden by any means. i love how both of them were scared to put themselves out there for fear of rejection but ultimately ej asked her out and i love that.

side note: ash's support and gina's adorable little walk + their faces before and after he asked her out on a REAL risotto date night.

i kinda wished that there was some more closure between ricky/nini/gina not only about the chocolates but more about their feelings. i like how ej saying that the best thing he did for nini was letting her go led ricky to sorta think about his song from 2x09 and ponder his relationship with nini. ricky acknowledging that he's not always done the best things is *chefs kiss*

seblos: i knew they wouldn't last through the entire episode without making up. ricky helping carlos with the song was so nice, and in a heartbeat is super cute. i love this ship to pieces.

portwell finale kiss? yes, i want it. but you know what i really want? s3 camp!portwell constantly holding each other, forehead kisses, cheek kisses, soft kisses/hugs goodnight, gina on ej’s shoulders playing chicken, run-and-jump hugs, piggyback rides. give me all the fluffy, cutesy shenanigans possible bc these two deserve it.
