Severus is worried, it's already past nine and Harry still hasn't emerged from their bedroom which really unusual since he knows Harry is an early riser. So he decides to check on Harry and he didn't know whether he going to laugh out loud or just quietly watch Harry as he tried to tame his hair that was more untameable this morning.

Harry already hates his day and he even hasn't really begun it yet. He looked at his annoying bird nest of his from the mirror as tried to tame it as he prays that it won't take too long because he wanted to make a very special breakfast for Severus after he spend a long night in his lab.

Prompt #4

Severus was afraid to love because when he loved he killed someone.

First was his mother, his father saw his love as something he could exploit and went too far leaving nothing but proof that he shouldn't love.

The second time was Regulus, who only joined the death eater rank because he was in it and got killed.

Third, his relatives are more like a family than his own family. They died in a death eater raid that was a 'gift' to him for being loyal and they said Severus didn't need them holding him back.

Fourth, Lily. If he didn't love proofing himself like an idiot, maybe his once friend would still be alive.

Finally, Albus Dumbledore. If he didn't love that old meddling coot to the bottom of his heart, he would never have had the guts to kill him as he requested.

After Albus Severus thought 'no, no more love' and thought that was it but the world likes giving their cruellest joke and shows him Harry, another person he desperately would and could not love but his heart said otherwise.

Will Harry be his sixth victim to his love curse or will Severus be spared of heartache and get all the love he deserves

"What are you doing?" Harry flip the pancake up into the air. It spins gracefully before it landed back on the pan with the undercooked part on the other side.

"Making lunch!"

Severus is very startled by the level of commitment that Harry gives to him, and the determination to be with him. One day when Harry delivered his usual daily flower bouquet, Severus had enough of turning blind eyes and acting that he wasn't affected by all of Harry's displays of affection.

Severus shoves aside the flower Harry was holding and grabs him by the shoulder, shaking Harry with all his might as if it could make Harry finally come to his senses.

"Why are you doing all of this?" Why me? The unspoken questions rang clear.

"I love you. Is that simple."
