"It is no trouble, Thinya." Daphne squeezed the brunette's hand and watched her friend slip away before returning to the role of hostess. The next afternoon Daphne went to Thinya's home with the excuse of inviting her to promenade with her and then join her for tea.

The Duchess had been planning most of the night, Benedict was going to notice Thinya if it was the last thing he did.

"Oh, of course, but that doesn't mean we can't nudge him in that direction." Daphne said, with a wink.

Her brother was not unlike any other man. He could be nudged in any direction if one was smart about it.

"You and I will speak tomorrow. If you want to sneak off to the library, I won't tell."

"I'm glad too..." Sienna couldn't tear her eyes away from Allie's lips, they looked so soft and Siena would be lying if she wasn't curious what if would feel like to kiss her.

"... I think I would like that distraction now, if you're willing."

Siena knew there were women that liked women, she'd never really thought about if she was one of them, Allie had been good enough to let Siena stay with her, it was better than being out on the streets, she didn't dislike Allie, and now the way she was looking at her and pushing her hair out of her face, she really was beautiful.

The sob that left Rebecca when Delia hugged her shook her whole body.

The blonde loved being a nurse, this was her calling, but somedays was harder than others. Sinking to the floor still in Delia's arms, Rebecca leaned into the brunette, taking comfort from the embrace and the feeling of Delia playing with the hair at the nape of her neck.

Cressida was completely human, Renesmee could smell it, under the sweet perfume Cressida was wearing was the unmistakable human scent.

The hybrid had caught the blonde's eye not long after the Cullen's had moved to London, and now they were slipping away from the Bonfire Night celebrations just before fireworks.

Hidden in the darkness, they stood close together, a firework exploded above them, lighting up Cressida's face for a second in red. Renesmee Cullen had been alive eighteen years, but she'd never felt like this for anyone.

And as if the moment couldn't get any better, Cressida Cowper leaned in and kissed her, as another firework lit up their dark little corner.

Francesca loved her family, but she hadn't expected her siblings to come all the way to Scotland. Eloise had suggested staying longer, which Francesca had rejected, Eloise needed to go back to London, Francesca wasn't going to let her sister put her life on pause for her.

She hadn't known Eloise had written Benedict, though in hindsight it made sense.

The moment she saw her older brother Francesca burst into tears, and let her siblings pull her into a group hug.
