Becca's heart was still pounding but the cool air and the much quieter atmosphere was helping settle her nerves.

"I'm okay, just had to get some air..." the streetlights caught Trixie's hair, giving her a halo. Becca wasn't religious, ironic considering where she lived and worked, but the word angel seemed appropriate for Trixie.

Becca had accepted the invite our with her fellow nurses, in the hopes of making friends. It was one thing to work with these girls day in and day out, but it was another to see them when off the clock. Trixie had been kind enough to help Becca get ready, and now here they were dancing together because there weren't enough partners to go around.

Trixie whispered something about how pretty Rebecca was in her ear, but Becca was distracted by the blonde.

"Can we step outside? It's quieter." Becca said, if anyone asked Rebecca would say they needed some air, and there was safety in numbers, but really she just wanted to go somewhere not so crowded and talk with the brilliant blonde nurse.
