ongoing jokes:

gf has NO fucking training on being a lady’s maid and regularly fucks up accordingly 

^the above is excused as just the way americans do things

husband regularly walks in on them in compromising situations and is still sunny and clueless because oh that just must be how ladies and their maids act

trying to come up with some tie to aristocracy and having to keep track of all the stories and how they could pOSSIBLY connect bc dollar princess is NOT good under pressure (she is somehow related to SEVERAL queens several times over but also her ancestors went over on the mayflower don’t check the math please)

no real idea of how many rooms are in the country estate because husband comes from a long line of amateur architects who all had Ideas of the proper flow of a house 

neither dollar princess nor gf understand the british estate servant hierarchy and thus never get the things they ask for. as of episode 4, she will have been waiting about 7 weeks for a cup of tea she asked for upon arrival. 

other ladies keep trying to poach lady’s maid gf just to make a point and are SO frustrated that she seems to have no price
