Coriolanus has been a great boyfriend. What he doesn't have in the ability to spoil you monetarily, he makes up for in emotional gestures - holding your hand, brushing your hair away when you've just applied lipgloss and the wind blew a few strands to stick to your lips - things like that. The blonde tells you his secrets - that it's all a front, the Snows are flat broke and most nights he goes to bed hungry and goes to school the same only to be satisfied by school lunches. This only endears him to you, and you start to take care of him in little ways - inviting him to dinner and sending him home with extras, taking him out to breakfast on weekends. You bring cash, and you slip it to him to allow him to pay - pretend to the public that he is the one treating you. Each time, his eyes shine with adoration for you. You take care of him, really and truly, and you suspect he needs that. The depth of his need becomes evident when you try to end things. He hasn't done anything - but you're restless, and it feels like something is missing. Like he's still holding back, somehow. You invite him over to your place - you never go to his, even if you know his secret - and when Coriolanus sits on your bed, you break the news to him. He's heartbroken. You watch it happen, the realization, the moment of understanding. His brow furrows and he shakes his head of blonde curls. "What did I do...?" He asks, shaking his head. You knew he would ask this. "It's not that, it's just..." You begin, looking down at your hands, but he interrupts you. "Please, please don't do this." Coriolanus seems breathless, panicked, blue eyes wide and full of unshed tears. His pleas and tone surprise you - and pull at your heartstrings. "Coryo..." "What did I do? Is it because-" "No, it's not because of your situation." You say quickly. Your family has enough money for the both of you - it's really not that. "Then what! Did I mess up? I'll fix it! Let me fix it, please." He's desperate, you can hear it and see it. Your eyes take in his expression. You're not sure why, but something about his desperation and pleading is fascinating you. "It's not really something you can fi-" You begin, but he cuts you off again, and you're utterly shocked at what he does next.

"Please! Please don't do this. Don't leave me! I can fix it. I can." Coriolanus says, and then he slides off of your bed and down onto his knees, hands clasped in front of him.

A good watch for everyone. Shaun spoke to a lot of my feelings about this and even called me out a time or two.

Being able to call Sejanus your boyfriend is such a life accomplishment. 

He’s the epitome of a gentleman, always extremely attentive and caring towards you. He’s always trying to be respectful about you and your boundaries, protecting you from anything that makes you uncomfortable. 

He constantly defends you from malicious comments from classmates, effectively shutting them up when they start mocking you. Sometimes Sejanus feels guilty, sensing that maybe they enjoy picking on you because you’re dating him - a previous district resident. 

Sejanus is an often presence at your house, opting to stay in the sitting room or the library as you both study, despite your claims that your room would be more comfortable.

He’d hate for your parents to have the wrong assumption about him, so he prefers not to offer them any reason to dislike him. 

He wins the future best son-in-law award, always complimenting your mom about the smallest details and keeping up a polite conversation with your father. Never coming to your house empty-handed, always carrying a goodie to present your mother with. 

Sejanus enjoys keeping you company. He doesn’t mind when you drag him to shopping hauls or to exquisite social parties that your family hosts, even if they aren’t his favorite places. He cherishes every moment of your company, being around you as any good boyfriend would. 

I feel like Sejanus would be a bit reserved when it comes to PDA, preferring to show his affection by keeping his hand on your back or by being attentive. But it doesn't happen that occasional public kisses never happen. They do - short but reassuring kisses that make your belly flutter. 

Sejanus is the type of boyfriend you know you can count on for everything. He is always ready to listen to your problems, which leads to him worrying even more than you do.

He’s not someone who’ll forget about important dates - your birthday, the anniversary of your relationship, your parent’s birthdays, etc. So you don’t have to worry about him forgetting anything. It’s more likely for you to forget a date than Sejanus. 

Sejanus would definitely buy you a piece of jewelry - something simple but elegant at the same time - something to remind you of him. Maybe a pretty necklace or a bracelet with his initials. 

That way he’s always there with you.
