normally, duri would have stopped for the fans that were waiting outside; just to get some sort of glimpse. but, because he had to get inside to get to rehearsals, he couldn’t and was sure to tell them such, as well as to tell them not to be outside for long because of the cold. he was just happy to see that people were anticipating a comeback from them, as well as generally excited for it.
it looked as if duri was a pup that was excited to get the ball as he made his way down the hallway towards the other. he wasn’t exactly sure where all his energy had come from; it was most likely from coffee considering the time he woke up that morning. “ah, seungmin, it’s going to be a lot of fun, promise.” he states, giving another smile.
duri chuckled a tad bit, shaking his head. “don’t worry! i’m a workaholic, so i’m always practicing. all the rust is gone,” he says with a rather happy smile, before he’s off to go into the rehearsal studio.

As expected, Duri’s completely optimistic about their upcoming album and promotions, whereas he still felt a creeping sense of dread. BC knows no mercy with their scheduling, although it’s guaranteed that they’ll get the most out of their promotions at the cost of their own blood, sweat and tears. Five years ago he’d face the comeback head-on but now, well, he thought he’d rather be in his room.
“Yeah you are” Seungmin agreed, recalling all the hundreds of nights he caught Duri overworking himself, oftentimes with him joining. More than a year has passed since their last promotions, and it almost felt strange to be walking with Duri to the practice room again.
“Did you greet the fans?” he asked as they walked inside. He had no reason for asking other than to keep the quiet at bay, but now that he mentioned them he began to realize how monotonous their lives as idols really started to feel. Hell, hearing fans cheer used to eclipse coffee as an energizer, yet here he is, trying to get as much caffeine in him as possible just to wake up.

fmdjoonsoo:

Joonsoo had a surprisingly close friendship with Seungmin, someone who he considered to be a good source of companionship. Not only had he stuck by him through his struggles as a trainee and as the beginning of his career as an idol, but he had helped him immensely as well. He showed him the ropes, so to speak. How to properly portion off his food, how to deal with fainting spells and dizziness from lack of proper food intake.
He wasn’t sure how he would have made it without him, and he’d developed some sort of dependency on him in some ways. He was the only one who understood him and understood why he did what he did. He was the only one who helped him.
While their friendship dwindled out slightly over the years, Joonsoo still had a pretty positive perspective of the older male, and whenever both of them had free time on their hands, he jumped at the chance to hang out with him. Whether that be going out and hanging out somewhere in public, or just hanging out at Seungmin’s place and playing video games into the early hours of the morning.
“Hyung! You’re cheating!”

Inside his dark apartment, the only light comes from a large tv, and it bathes his room in a pale glow. He sat on the foot of his bed, a blanket draped over his shoulders and a giant, plush cat head cradled in his lap, and he held a video game controller between its aqua blue ears.
Completely enthralled by the vivid, glossy graphics of Smash Brawl, Seungmin entered the zone; the clear, visceral concentration that all gamers sought to tap into for the thrill. Jigglypuff, his ever faithful champion, bounced into the air vigilantly with each tap of the A button. His only objective is to totally obliterate Joonsoo, who is probably one of the few remaining people willing to play games like this with him. They’ve been close for awhile now, ever since he decided to help him survive in this crazy world all those years ago, but that didn’t mean Seungmin would go easy on him.
“Come on, Jigglypuff,” he murmured, feeling his competitive side slip out, “go in for the kill!” Noticing an opening - albeit, not a fair one - he makes a fatal move to take away one of Joonsoo’s lives. Simply enough, he pushes his character off the edge, and made sure he couldn’t easily get back up by throwing a succession of fireballs at him.
“It’s not cheating!” he protests with a laugh. “It’s called winning.”
@fmdkiyoung
In the cover of early morning darkness Seungmin pressed himself against the cold window of Decipher’s van and, in vain, tried to clear his mind of all anxieties and troubles.
But with Kiyoung sitting beside him, and their thighs squished together, his mind became a cacophony of chaotic thoughts: doubt, desire, and the will to smother him in his sleep. With a pillow. Preferably one with BEE printed on it, so he’d accept his fate and go without a fight.
His shoulders droop down just as his will to stay awake does, and he attempts to curl into a ball in the back corner. "Let me sleep. Goodnight forever” he mumbles, closing his eyes. For a moment he keeps still, slowly being lulled to sleep, and then his head slams into the window. “Pothole!” calls his manager, “Ow. Dammit, man!”, he cries, and just like that he’s back to where he was: uncomfortable, oddly aroused, but now in physical pain. Seungmin, sinking into his seat, tried once more to get comfortable and reached for the coffee he left in the cup holder. It’s now black and cold, just like his heart.
His elbow bumps into Kiyoung and when he looks up to him he frowns, feeling crowded in ways both pleasant and unpleasant. “Stop breathing in my general direction you anti-tooth brushing barbarian” he complains for the sake of complaining, not smelling anything but the coffee he was cradling in his hands. Unfortunately, being world famous doesn’t mean they can escape waking up early for their schedules. And since he’s barely awake he doesn’t deserve to sit next Kiyoung and his outstanding, beautiful, gym-toned body. It only means he’ll eventually go insane.
