I loved Mat Pats cameo in FNAF but I feel like they could have left out "it's just a theory" as before that line he was just a waiter but soon as he said it I was pulled out of the "bubble" of the film and I don't know it kind of ruined it for me...

Here's the thing, 911 always acknowledges in the season premiere that we have missed several months of the characters lives, ie.

Season 3 - it's been five months since the truck bombing, Buck's leg is (mostly healed)

Season 4 - we've been living through the pandemic and just got back to normal after half a year, also Maddie is mega pregnant now instead of just finding out she's pregnant

Season 5 - No timeline given to my knowledge but Eddie is fully healed from his bullet wound implying a few months have passed

Season 6 - "Taylor moved out, what 5 months ago ..."

BUT there is going to be a HUGE break between season 6 and 7 due to the strikes which means the writers will either have to say that Eddie/Marisol and/or Buck/Natalia have been dating for 8 to 10 months, making them very serious relationships, or these characters will have to be written off as having broken up between seasons and I'm wildly curious to see which one it will be.
