(spoiler free) COMPLETELY AMAZING!!! It 100% lived up to my expectations! Misfortune is SUCH a cutie! I loved how it was creepy but in a different way than Fran Bow was, and I love how gracefully they added onto the already established universe. It was also really interesting to see how a different time period plays out, as well as different kinds of monsters. My only thing was that I felt the game was kind of short, but that might be A. because I played the whole thing in one sitting or B. because I was enjoying it so much! ‘Revealing the True Soul’ spell from Fran Bow

This is from the game Fran Bow, I thought it’s actually a pretty good spell and it can be adapted easily. Here’s some ideas for substitutes:

Blood from the executer: if you’re not into or are scared of blood magic, you can use some of your hair or nail clippings instead. Also note, if you do want to use blood, you don’t have to cut yourself! For women, you can use blood from your period. For men, maybe if you pop an acne spot and it bleeds? I dunno.

‘Blue bloomed Moonlight Rose’: this is a special flower from the game, but you can substitute it with any blue flower or a white rose, then leave it under the full moon for the night, or perform the ritual at night. You could also use a fake blue rose, or make one yourself our of paper/draw one. Be creative!

Hair from the person you want to bewitch: maybe instead of hair you have any other object of that person, or a photo of them, so that’s good too! Alternatively you could draw them, write their name, whatever you can think of.
