As the colder months begin to settle in, it becomes pertinent to remind you about the conditions in Palestine. The people of Gaza are trapped in tents, while torrential rainfall drastically increases the risk of flooding and sickness from exposure. The Israeli occupation and genocide is, without a doubt, entirely responsible for this suffering. This is the suffering Marah and her family have been forced to live under for now (as of writing this) almost a full year.

This cannot be allowed to continue any longer. Marah deserves to finish her studies in engineering. Her parents deserve to recieve medical treatment for their diabetes. Her family deserves to feel safe in a world not hellbent on their destruction.

SAVE MARAH AND HER FAMILY

Marah has been fundraising for her family for months and still isn't close to her goal. It's winter and their tent keeps breaking because of the rain, stressing the family and destroying their belongings. Marah and her family need a new tent strong enough to stand the rain.

Marah has her dreams set on finishing her degree in computer science, instead she and her family have been displaced eight times and she can no longer complete her degree . She has lost a year of school to this genocide and her university because of the relentless bombing.

Marash's parents have diabetes and high blood pressure and haven;t been able to refill their medicine because of the genocide. This lack of treatment is stressful for the family and worries Marah.

Hi guys, I want to bring to your attention The Baalousha family (@freepaleatine95)’s fundraiser. Before the war, Marah was a student at Al-Azhar University, studying computer engineering. Mahmoud was a successful owner of a shoe store, even having a few exhibitions. 

However, the war has taken all of that away. With their home, they lost their pets who were still trapped.

Not only have they lost their homes and sources of income, they have accumulated significant debt. Al-Azhar University has been destroyed. This is not the first time the occupation has taken from them. In 2006, their brother Muhammad was shot in the chest by the IOF in Beit Hanoun.

Their parents both have diabetes; in addition to that, their father also has blood pressure. Both of them are in dire need of medicine. With your help, they hope to survive the winter in their tents, help their family and evacuate to Egypt when the crossing opens.
