thinking about how dong sik doesn’t eat when he’s struggling by himself … thinking about how ji hwa calls dong sik on the night of sang yeob’s death anniversary, telling chief nam that he’ll starve himself if we don’t get him … thinking about how dong sik apparently hadn’t really been eating when he was in the holding cell … thinking about how dong sik starves a little bit when he’s grieving and alone, but as soon as it comes down to the matter of han joo won, dong sik insists on taking him out to eat, always. something about how i hate myself but i love you. 

This was more like a duel between 'claret and plum/ochre and wine red bruises' and 'with kisses more teeth than tongue' for me. But the former proved to be too strong of a contender.

I think I read it for the first time in a Gahan fic and ever since then, I look forward to reading it over and over again.

ok caveat that im only like 6 episodes into mysterious lotus casebook but its crazy to me that every case theyve solved so far has in some way involved someone who appeared to be dead but wasnt or someone who appeared to be alive but was dead or someone who died of a cause totally different to what appeared to be the cause or SOMETHING like that. and at the centre of it all is li lianhua who is someone everybody thinks is dead. god
