You can actually do this yourself using the âscreenâ function on ibis paint, create a second layer and color in that(select it as screen) make sure your image is clear, and if you plan on having a colored background(depends if you save as transparent) any white particles will show up, make sure to erase
Remembering how I have so many photos of JJBA that my phone recognizes them as people I know.đ°đ°đ°
announcement: please help the people of hawaii
In case you haven't heard yet, the state of hawaii is experiencing wildfires that have displaced several people as well as injured and killed others. Particularly, the island of Maui and the big island are experiencing such fires the most.
Needless to say, it's important to do what we can to help the people of Hawai'i who are suffering as a result of these fires. This may not be an entire list, but here are links I found so far to resources for those on the island who need help and donation options for those off the island.
I encourage those who are more experienced and familiar with how donations work and know about more places to donate for Hawaii to reblog with more resources and correct me if the links I provided are not suitable.
The official website for Lahaina Town has updated to provide resources for locals and news about the fires. Donations links are TBD.
The Maui Mutual Aid Fund is an ahupuaâa based citizen disaster response team. They are collecting funds that will be distributed to the vulnerable affected by the fire.
Hawai'i Community Foundation has created the The Maui Strong Fund. This fund has been used to provide resources for disaster preparedness, response, and recovery, and is now used to help those affected by the wildfires in Maui.
New Life Kahuku Inc. is a non-profit Christian Church based in Kahuku that set up a donation fund for the people of Lahaina Town. Proceeds will be used to provide food and other supplies to those in need.
The Maui Humane Society is asking for supplies such as food, kennels, and more to help their current and potential influx of animals that will be displaced as a result of the fires. The website has a donation button, and the organization are asking for foster parents to take in an animal as well.
The Maui Food Bank is working to help provide food for those affected by the wildfires. They are asking for donations to provide for the hungry during these dangerous times.
Hey! Iâm gonna assume you guys like using Tumblr correct? What about AO3? TikTok? Or any other platform that fandom spaces thrive? Then you need to give a fuck about the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA).
KOSA is a act currently being talked about in congress that is labeled as a act that prevents minors from seeing 18+ content. It being labeled as that seems okay and good, yes, but thatâs not what this bill is about.
KOSA, if put in place, will make so the attorney general of each state gets to pick which platforms will be banned in their state. And this doesnât been censorship of minors, this means censorship of everyone of ALL AGES.
âMy attorney general wouldnât ban this sites.â Yes, they might not. But donât think about yourself right now. MILLIONS of people will be without spaces to escape too. Millions of people will be without access to websites that allows them to talk to people. Millions of queer people wouldnât be allowed on to places they were originally welcomed.
âOkay? But theyâre only trying to ban nsfw content?â And what do all republications see as nsfw? Queer people. Especially trans people.
KOSA is just another bill that will allow nation wide bans on topics such as sex, gender, sexuality, and more. This act does nothing more except erase queer people from online spaces, and further pushes the anti-trans beliefs (and genocide) circling our country right now.
Yâall need to give a shit about this bill like you should still be giving a shit about the RESTRICT ACT (which still hasnât been turned down yet btw).
This act opens the door from any site such of tumblr and quotev to be banned, to YouTube if your AG doesnât like it for ANY reason. And donât forget, VPNâs can only do so much, and the government already wants to ban those.
What can you do? CALL YOUR FUCKING CONGRESS REPS. EMAIL THEM. I donât give a shit, all I care about is this bill that doesnât speak for the people getting blocked and not being put in place. Bills like this further push our nations descent into facism. And if thereâs a way to prevent that, we better fucking do it.
