Kyoto Animation

The fire is out for the most part. A man listed as 41 years old walked into Kyoto Animation today and poured gasoline on the floors shouting “Die!” and set it on fire. 10 people are confirmed dead as of 3:30 pm July 18th. There are still many seriously injured. This building was the original studio that opened in 1981.

As of 3:45 pm they are still searching for victims inside of the building. There are atleast 18 people unaccounted for trapped on the 3rd floor one of who is unable to move on their own. There were at least 70 people in the building with 30 of them on the 2nd and 3rd floors unable to be reached by the fire department.

As of 4:00 pm JST 13 people have been confirmed dead
