「a/n」 i knew for my first post on this blog i wanted to do something with my favorites so here are some cuddle headcanons with my (very tentative, because i’m so indecisive and love all haikyuu!! characters sm) top 5!!

and look out because i’ll be posting a bokuto oneshot  in a couple hours! -ray

↳ bokuto koutaro

- when you’re sleeping in the same bed together it usually starts with you laying completely on top of him

- just because he loves to have you as close as humanly possible, it’d almost feel clingy if you didn’t love him so much

- he’ll wrap his big buff arms around your waist, his hands will rub up and down you back or he’ll fiddle with the hem of you shirt, just doing something to keep his hands busy

- plus the weight of you on top of him is comforting and helps him chill out and unwind

- every now and then he’ll press a light kiss to the crook of you neck, the top of your head or the underside of your jaw, just to hear you huff a soft little laugh into his neck

- although nice, this position isn’t comfortable for too long so eventually you’ll roll off him and one of two things will happen

- he’ll spoon you or you’ll spoon him

- bo has no shame when it comes to being the little spoon, he just loves your affection and loves to be held by you, he eats that shit up

- but he also loves holding you

- so it really just depends on how the two of you are feeling

- in conclusion; cuddles with bo always involve you holding each other close and touching each other constantly, with little kisses sprinkled in here and there

↳ tsukki

- tsuki isn’t an avid cuddler at the beginning of the relationship

- it’s not so much that he’s completely opposed to it, he’s just a little emotionally constipated and doesn’t really know how to go about it

- in public he’s very reserved with his pda but in private!! whew! get ready.

- but he’s also a lanky young man so the first couple of times it might take a while for both of you to settle in comfortably

- once you get there though,,,, it’s so nice

- your head will rest on his chest and his arm closest to you will be wrapped around you, with his thumb rubbing soothing circles on your shoulder

- i imagine he’s pretty warm so no need for blankets!! his natural body warmth is all the comfort and heat you need :,)

- he also wouldn’t mind (read: loves it) if you play with the hand of the arm that isn’t wrapped around you

- he’s got some really nice hands, their a little rough but they’re big, and his fingers are very lithe and long ray put away your hand kink

- so just fiddle with his fingers, or run your fingers over his knuckles!!

- he probably won’t talk much, but he wouldn’t mind if you did!! he’ll nod, hum softly and even throw in a couple snarky remarks as you talk

- if you’re not in the mood to talk, or not much of a talker yourself, you’ll listen to music together or watch a movie while simply enjoying each other’s presence

- in conclusion; although it might be a little awkward at first once you two get a hang of it, you won’t be able to get enough

↳ noya

- boobs? butt??? no. noya is a thigh guy, 100%

- loves your thighs no matter how big or how small they are, he loves them cause they’re a part of you!

- he’ll cuddle you however and whenever as long as he can put a hand on your thigh somehow 

- some common options are;

↳ spooning + hand on the thighs

↳ sitting on his lap + hands on the thighs

↳ arm around you + han- you get the point.

- but he especially loves to lay his head on your thighs if y’all are chilling on the couch while watching a movie or something together

- and at that point his hair is probably washed and free from all the gel that keeps it up so he loves it if you play with his hair!! it’s so soft under your fingers, and maybe even a little damp from his shower

- scratch over his scalp lightly, or play with his little tuft of blonde hair and he will melt even further into you

- he loves having your attention, and loves getting to talk to you about anything and everything under the sun

- he’ll look up at you and ask you about your day, what you did in class or any plans you have and in turn you ask him about his day, and how practice was.

-in conclusion; just love him, play with his hair, and let him touch your thighs  please.

↳ tendou

- my favorite little gremlin!! guess monster? more like cuddle monster smh

- this boy loves you and your cuddles so much

- whenever he can, he’ll have you curled up with him on his dorm room bed

- pulled into his chest, both arms wrapped around you tight

- he’ll hum a little tune as you dooze of into a nap together after class or practice

- or other times you’ll shift so he can still wrap his arms around and hold his copy of that weeks jump for you two to read together

- just like tsuki, tendou is another really tall guy so it’s really easy to tangle his long legs with yours and pull yourself impossibly closer to him

- and if you ever need it, he’s really good at providing you comfort cuddles!!

- he knows a little too well what someone wants when they’re in need of comfort :(

- he’ll kiss the top of your head and whisper sweet little praises and words of comfort, letting you bury your head in his neck and cry if thats how you’re feeling

- and hopefully if he ever needs it you can do the same for him

- in conclusion; cuddles with tendou can be fun, as you laugh and read jump or talk together or cuddles with tendou can be soft and comforting and you care for eachother

↳ hinata

- he loves loves loves to lay face to face with you

- and he HAS to be holding your hand. no exceptions. ever.

- ugh, this sweet boy!!

- at first any affection or contact from you would cause him to blush furiously but now that you two are further into your relationship he can! not! get enough

- you’ll lay in bed together, forehead to forehead, hands intertwined on the bed between the two of you

- sometimes you will even be close enough your legs tangle together under the sheets

- he’ll press kisses all over your face or run his knuckles across your cheek (the other hand still in yours of course)

- tell him about that test you had today or new food you tried, and he’ll tell you about something his little sister did or something mean kageyama said to him during practice

↳ speaking of his little sister, she loves you so much!! there was definitely one time you stayed the night at his house and natsu ended up snuggled right between the two of you

- you’ll fall asleep face to face but eventually wake up cuddled into the side of his chest, one of his arms around you and hands still intertwined <3

- in conclusion; hold his hand! hold his hand! hold his hand!

Hey Alice! So you frequently mention things that you (understandably) regret from each book but I was just wondering if you've ever thought about your favorite things. Like if you had to do a top three favorite things (like characters, location choices, ect.) list for each book what would be on it? Go get some positivity! *throws a handfull of glitter on the floor and crawls through a window to escape*

Ahh that’s a lovely question!! Okay, let’s see...

Solitaire - I like Tori’s voice and emotional journey, the wintery vibes, and Tori and Michael’s connection

Radio Silence - I like Frances & Aled’s friendship and how it develops in the book, I like the Universe City extracts because they give such a strong visual aesthetic to the book, and I like the message that you don’t have to go to uni!

IWBFT - I like the dual narration and how they slowly come together then collide in the middle! I like the friendships displayed in all their complexity - the Ark boys and their dynamics, and Angel and Juliet’s internet friendship come to life. And I just really liked writing about pop stars!! 

Loveless - I like that it’s an aroace story! I love the trio of girls at the heart of it. And I love that it’s more funny and light-hearted than my other books :)
