A comic page, featuring a bunny wearing a long robe, with ears that look like a duck's beak. The bunny is looking around, seemingly lost. They look at a map, then around them. They're in a hallway, with columns surrounding them. The ground under their feet looks like a checkerboard pattern.
The bunny keeps looking at their map, while small geometric forms start to appear behind them. As they look back, they see a creature has appeared, formed of a bunch of shapes thrown together. The creature talks: " Need help to navigate? " The bunny is startled, and replies: " What the heck are you? " The shapes respond: " You can call me Tesseract. I sort of live here. "
The bunny squints at their map and says: " I've been walking here for hours and I didn't see you once. " Tesseract looks at them through floating eyes and says: " That's because you've been staying in the same plane, little duck. " The bunny, offended, looks back at Tesseract: " Not a duck. " " Are you sure? " asks Tesseract. The bunny then looks up at the shape creature and asks: " Can you help me get out then? " " Sure, I can lead you to an exit, " answers Tesseract. The two of them head down the alleyway, by Tesseract warns the bunny to " Be careful though, some places here can hurt your eyes. "
The bunny and Tesseract walk through a corridor. The bunny asks: " Is it lonely here? " " No, there's others around, " says Tesseract. " Plus, the occasional explorer, like you. " Behind them, the shapes of the columns form the silhouettes of people hunched over, as if looking over them.
Tesseract and the bunny walk over a sphere, that's cut up in slices and spread out in space, while talking. Bunny asks " How come you keep looking different? " Tesseract answers: " You can't see me all at once. " Bunny: " How so? " Tesseract: " You are in three dimensions, where I am four. It's as if you could only see a sphere as a flat circle. "
The page is full of stairs in strange perspective, and the Bunny with ears that look like a duck's beak is going down some stairs, while Tesseract floats around them. Tesseract goes: " Be careful not to slip, little duckie. " Bunny replies: " Not a duck." then asks: " Would you catch me if I fell? " Tesseract closes an eye, then answers: " I could- Just need to be careful so you don't fall through me instead. "
The bunny and Tesseract arrive in front of a door, and Bunny asks: " Could that be an exit? " Tesseract goes: " Actually, it could be... Try opening it." Bunny puts one hand on the handle then opens the door, revealing a corridor completely covered in checkerboard patterns, giving a sensation a movement when looked at. Tesseract looks at the corridor and goes: " ... Nope. But it is on the way. "
The entire page is covered in white and black squares, staggered row by row, with grey lines separating each row. It makes it feel as though the rows aren't straight, even though they are. The bunny says: " This looks slippery. " Tesseract: " It is not. " The bunny starts scaling down the rows, making their way down the page. Bunny: " What do you do usually? " Tesseract answers: " Same as you, I go on life changing journeys. " The bunny lifts their head to look at Tesseract and says: " I do go on journeys, but usually, they're not life changing. "
The bunny and Tesseract the shape creature stand at the edge of a slope. Bunny says: " ... I admit this one is unusual though. " Tesseract warns: " Ah, be careful, now you might slip. " The bunny does slip and goes down, shouting " W-WOAH-". Some of Tesseract's shapes form a hand, as if trying to catch the falling bunny.
The page is all black, with white lines. The bunny is falling through the page, surrounded by stars and by cubes and shapes. Tesseract asks: " What do you plan on doing once you're out? " The bunny thinks then answers, the curve of its ears looking like a smiling beak. " I think I'll rest and drink something warm. Would you come along? " Tesseract answers: " I might not fit inside your house entirely. But maybe I could, little duckie. " The bunny, that does look like a duck from this angle, looks a bit frustrated. " Still not- Nevermind. Well, we'll need that exit then. " Tesseract looks at the bunny with a playful look.
Tesseract and the bunny-duck make their way up an infinite staircase, which loops around on itself. The bunny asks: " How long until we reach it? " Tesseract goes: " It shouldn't be much longer. " Then the shape creature stops. " Wait. " Tesseract turns around, and says gleefully. " Actually, it's this way. " The bunny turns around in turn, shocked.
The bunny and Tesseract are upside down, back in the corridor with the columns and the checkerboard floor. The bunny looks angry, and their ears look like an angry duck beak. " This is just where we started! " Tesseract just points down the page, past the columns, to a door, that was previously way up on the ceiling.
The bunny and Tesseract look at each other, and the bunny asks them: " Can you help me down, please? " Tesseract guides them down to the door with its shapes, and the bunny makes it down, then looks back up, their ears/beak pointed to Tesseract. " Thank you, " says the bunny.
The bunny asks " Will you come with me then? " " I will, " says Tesseract, from up on the checkerboard ceiling. " See you soon, little rabbit. " The bunny opens the door, then pauses, then glances back at Tesseract. Their ears look like a smiling beak, and they look like a duck. " You got it right, this time! "
The duck-bunny heads into the door, while Tesseract reaches towards them, geometric shapes spread everywhere, as well as eyes, scattered over the pages, all looking at the bunny. " Did I? " says Tesseract.
There's a beautiful clearing, covered in grass. On the left side are a couple of trees, on the right, a tree stump and a rock covered in moss. There's a hill in the distance. It's night, and the stars are shining. In the middle of all of that opens a door, and out comes our bunny-duck, and then Tesseract, in the form of another bunny-duck, that looks made up of geometric shapes. In the night sky, some lines between the stars form geometic shapes as well, implying the rest of Tesseract is spread out. The two bunny-ducks look happy, holding each other's hand.
Two cups of hot cocoa. The right one has regular steam coming off of it, while the left one has little geometric shapes. Underneath them, is the word " fin ".

my participation to this year's 25hBD! the theme was " everything is a matter of perspective " and the rule was " have an optical illusion in your comic "
