lockdown was much less accessible for me and there were no accommodations of course, because accommodations are only widely accessible when they benefit abled people too💖
it's like we're not even an afterthought

Meme painting of a woman adorned in royal clothing and jewels. The text over the image reads, ‘Disabled people, watching all of the accommodations that were created because of COVID get ripped away as part of able-bodied peoples’ “attempt to get back to normal.”
my brother started calling our cat "doobie brother" which he then lengthened to "dubious brother" and has since morphed into "brother dubious" like he's some sort of fucked up little monk
Shoutout to autistics who need a caretaker but don’t have one. I see you, and you definitely aren’t alone cause same.
ok this has been said so many times but i'm gonna say it this time
i can't even explain how much i don't care about people self-diagnosing themselves with autism in bad faith. for attention or whatever else people might be saying. i do not care!! i don't even know if they really exist, if they do i don't know them or their minds, maybe i'd have no right to judge them, and who cares!! what i do know for sure is that autistic and otherwise neurodivergent people in a vulnerable moment get attacked by allistics in the name of protecting people i've seen no evidence they care for. there are arguments to be made that some of these people are doing this for ableist reasons. as long as diagnosis is inaccessible and impossible for certain groups of autistics self diagnosis will be 1000% valid and anyone who doesn't want people to self diagnose autism should get on changing the system instead of demanding personal responsibility from mostly people who already have it hard
