What slimes do the other ranchers have the most of (besides Mosaics)

Hmmmm,

If you ask about NPCs like Sam or Puffy,

Sam probably keeps a lot of Honey Slimes because they eat fruits and he tends to only keep slimes that eat veggies and fruits (beside the one beloved Supreme Slime he keeps; he eats meat but Sam tries his best to create some nice substitutes)

Puffy have a lot of Cotton Slimes and Speed Slimes! And that’s purely because she grinds. She just never. Stops. Grinding. She spends hours, days even, sitting outside and checking every single place solemnly to catch them and this pays her off. Cause obviously, the plorts of rare slimes are worth more! Plus she literally owns the area with Speed Slimes - she is heckin rich

Eret likes to keep slimes he consider pretty. He loves all of them, but Mosaic are his favourite. So are the Puddle Slimes! Both shine beautifully, have quite peaceful nature (besides those glittery bombs of mosaic guys) and allow Eret to put pretty outfits and accessories he makes!

Punz have a little of everything - not too much, not too many, perfect amount for his tests - all slime-safe obviously!

Kristen and Phil are not working on being the richest - similar to Punz, they keep a little bit of everything. They like to experiment with largos though, but due to Phil’s secret techniques no one knows about, whichever largo they make, he can always bring the slime back to normal. Though about the amount - I’m pretty sure they have a lot of Crystal Slimes!

Considering they also have the slimes that appear in game originally, I would say Mosaic Slimes, cause their plorts are usually most experience in the market! So they can make the most money of them.

The truth about the slimes from the au is that they are very very rare. Do you know rarity of Gilded Ginger? It’s a veggie that is very rare and can appear once a day, in one out of 74 different locations

that’s how it’s marked on the map of Glass Desert! And trust me, it may look easy to find it, but in reality, you literally must be in such a luck to encounter it randomly.

So... that’s what I imagine the rarity of those slimes I made cjfhfhj. Plus they may run off! So they are taken very special care of if they make it on the ranch and our three ranchers usually have one out of each type. Of course there can be more! But it’s not too easy to encounter the same slime again, so they focus on more research.

Let me make a nice explanation on the base game resources ^^

Here’s the sweet boy, Phosphor Slime! He occurs in Dry Reef, one of the main lands we have to explore as the ranchers. That’s where the Pink Slimes, Tabby Slimes and Stone Slimes appear! It may happen, that a Phosphor Slime encounters Tabby plort (you know the crystals they produce after they eat) and they are going to chomp it almost immediately!

That’s when the Phosphor-Tabby Largo is created! It’s very normal to make Largo Slimes in your ranch, you not only save space, but you also get double income of plorts, getting both of the types (it’s even better when they get their favourite food, cause when they eat their favourite, plorts literally double, so you get 4 plorts from one largo, it’s efficient af)

Well anyway, it’s no problem for normal, little slimes to consume other plorts, especially if they are on the wild, they will just chomp whatever they find. Though, it may get dirty, when a largo eats completely different plort. For example, our Phosphor-Tabby largo encounters Pink Plort and we have a catastrophe incoming!

This is how the Tarr is created. It’s actually a beautiful creature, surrounded with black, but holding rainbow inside. Tarrs are very feisty - they will swallow every existing slime in their range and clone, until it becomes a plague. And it’s very easy to happen, but also easy to take control of, if you have a water tank in your vacpac! If you give them a splash, there’s no problem anymore and everyone is safe.

It’s not too easy to get the Tarr infection happen on your farm, when you keep largos. As long as they all have their corals closed and are safely contained inside, everything will be fine. It gets tricky with one Slime, called Dervish Slime - when hungry, they will create quite huge tornado, that may... swallow stuff and make mess everywhere? And it’s not contained anywhere. I once had a situation, where Dervish largo yeeted their plort into other largo’s coral and we had one Tarr. Thank god I saw him and shot with water on time ncjcjj

What makes a Siamese slime different from a Tabby slime? Is it like a subspecies?

Siamese Slimes live in Glass Desert! Tabby Slimes appear there as well, but much less often than everywhere else. They are quite same, except for the fact that Siamese Slimes are more used to Solar Anomalies, during which most of the slimes flee, afraid of fire and high heat!
