we are so ableist about memory. people with good memory take for granted the fact that they can recall as much as they can, and use that to taunt, guilt and threaten people with memory issues. many neurotypes and mental illnesses cause memory lapses. traumatic brain injuries can cause memory lapses. brain cancer can cause memory lapses.

even if your memory is good, it's not right to guilt someone because they can't remember something. trust me, people with memory problems are desperately trying to remember: it's just that we literally can't. it is a very literal "i can't remember".

Many people with a history of early traumatization have not had many opportunities to experience a safe environment or safe relationships, and therefore they have been unable to develop a sense of inner safety and security. Thus, it may be hard for them to even imagine what it feels like to be safe. They may know cognitively that their current environment is safe, and yet they do not feel safe or comfortable at all, as though something terrible is going to happen any minute. And even when their present situation is safe, some parts of them remain stuck in trauma-time, unable to experience the safe present. 

In addition, traumatized individuals often do not feel safe with their own inner experiences, that is, with some of their own emotions, thoughts, sensations, and other actions of dissociative parts. Subsequent avoidance of inner experience makes it hard to stay present, and it sets in motion an inner cycle of fear, criticism, and shame, adding yet more to a lack of inner safety.

Coping With Trauma Related Dissociation

I'm glad I don't see many memes about people becoming rich from furry commissions. you have to remember it's a community effort driven by mutual passion and love for craft. love for the arts. I appreciate other furries for commissioning me as my style changed overtime and keeping me well fed and on my feet to support my family.

if you think you could try to attempt this despite having no passion or love for the community or subject I'll be honest and say you won't get many clients.

hey yall, I'm gonna open commissions when I can because my situation at home is getting progressively worse.

I'm legally disabled and receive monthly benefits for it cuz I cannot properly work a job, and my benefits money gets taken from me every month. I used to be left with 100$ out of the rest of it, but a few months ago it was lowered to 96$

now my mother has taken all of it. she's holding onto my money so "she can buy things I need" and this has never been an issue for her until now. she also wants me to stop getting food despite never having anything to eat at home, to the point we only eat once a day. I've been using some dono money to survive because without y'all I would quite literally starve.

its so beautiful that satisfactory has a no spiders mode but i think they could have just gone ahead and not included any spider enemies. i dont think spiders should ever be enemies in games thats too powerful of a fear in most people, i would argue probably even in many people who like spiders. its scary to get chased anb attacked by one of those things thats stylized to be an enemy. do you understand
