Noooooooooo!!!! NOT MY FANFICTION 😭

tldr: the world needs a sokka x suki x zuko (suzukki? zukki?) polyship

beware: there’s some *mild* comic series spoilers

no offense but more people need to ship sokka x suki x zuko. like, it isn’t even a crackship. there’s lots of canon that establishes there’s already mutual respect and companionship there. like, after the tv series, suki is zuko’s bodyguard and sokka is off doing sokka things. he and suki are still together and happily in love but there’s some zuko and suki moments in the comics where i was like 👀 don’t do that to my boy sokka!! BUT THEN i big brained it and said hmmm…polyship? beautiful. zuko and sokka are sweet to each other in the comics. suki and sokka are in love. zuko and suki arguably have some crush tension. WHY NOT. in the tv series, boiling rock was peak getting to know each other/trusting each other/zuko redeeming himself to them. PLUS by time the comics roll around, zuko becomes single.

time out/team huddle:

this is not mai slander. i love mai and she breaks it off with zuko bc he can’t provide what she needs in a relationship. which is 1000% valid! i also don’t recall them getting back together, but i could be misremembering. okay, time in.

the chemistry, companionship, and trust for sokka, suki, and zuko is there. their roles in rebuilding the world are similar as well and a romantic relationship would probably work well because of that. now consider bi sokka and bi zuko. coupled with what suki and sokka already have romantically, the aforementioned crush thing, and what the three of them have as sweet lil friends. bam! the foundation is already laid for the poly powerhouse that would be sokka x suki x zuko. this would also rectify the injustice that is suki erasure.
