This story is told from the point of view of Hank's daughter, who died. In season three it's mentioned he had a daughter who was still born, in this the daughter is in her early twenties.

I saw mama today. Dad she's happy. She told me I was here too soon, but I don't know where here is. Mama said we have a job to do now. She's been your guardian angel since she passed. She took over from grandpa, did you know that? I'm now guarding the officers at the 21st. It's a great honour, Dad.

But I walked down the street today and I saw that dog you always said looked like fried chicken. I didn't see it until today. And I felt the sun on my face, Dad it felt amazing. It felt like life. And I felt the breeze on my skin. It's like silk. You should see how the sun shines on the lake at dawn, Dad. Its beautiful. If only we could go together.
