"Taylor's reasons for not fighting back create too many questions."
Yes it's almost like the beginning of a story is there to build intrigue so the reader has a reason to keep going.

I don't think it's healthy to reblog people's single-digit-note posts to tell them how bad their takes are. But man. Some of those takes are bad.

You know how in The Boys, Homelander is this incredibly scary and powerful psychopath who is made even more so by how easily he could probably kill the main characters? The Nobles in Twig are kinda like that
So this was already pointed out by others but the two murder victims we're killed from 3 days apart and found in locations that one would pass through if one was walking from Manchester to London.
[Error] seems to be making a beeline straight for the OIAR and I'm very concerned
Skitter x Clockblocker ships are so wild to me because all I can imagine is their kids asking them how they met and Dennis tells this sanitized, enemies to lovers romance story while Taylor just goes "I was robbing a bank and your dad tried to stop me so I stuffed bugs into his mouth and eyes"
I really hope the "who keeps taking Georgie's face?" Line isn't foreshadowing anything
What's the step-by-step guide to writing a modestly received Wormfic with maybe 3-5 regular readers and no comments!!!!!
Oh this is an easy one. I could honestly tell you this in one sentence: write something original. However, in the interest of really destroying any chance of getting a popular worm fanfic out of your writing, let me give you my step by step guide.
Come up with an original character. Whether this is an under utilized worm character or an OC doesn't matter.
Set it somewhere other than Brockton. Even moving it as little away as Boston and you're fucked.
Have a style. Are you, as a writer, capable of putting in even the modicum of your own flair? Well your readers are going to fucking hate it. It's hard to churn through words when they have to go back and double check what you're written.
Give the women agency. Self explanatory really.
Never update. Trust me on this one.
Follow these steps and you'll have a story with a cumulative six readers that will be hailed as the best thing this fandom has ever produced five years after you left it.
