The problem is that trigger events are plainly good as a concept and generally executed well in story. & that makes me see other fiction and go "oh so like a trigger event" all the time + makes me just want to yoink it myself in my own stuff also. it's a toughie

I do really wish Wildbow would slow down and actually get one of his stories properly edited. People always say the first draft of your story is shit and if that's the case just imagine how good Worm or one of his other books would be if it was properly edited (and probably shortened)

criminal how little time we spent with the chicago wards. like 1 arc and then its slaughterhouse 9000 time. alternate universe where worm is pale length and taylor becoming weaver was 1/3 in. we get 20 arcs of taylor with the chicago wards. we get 6 arcs of imp vs heartbreaker + aftermath. fuck yeah.
