The Difficult Part For People That Have Been Deceived Is That They Dont Realize That They Have Been Deceived,

The difficult part for people that have been deceived is that they don’t realize that they have been deceived, and even more difficult is convincing them they Are Deceived.
You see, TRUTH is truth, and that means it’s not what you think is truth, what someone is telling you is truth, or what everybody else believes is truth. It is not determined by popular vote, popular culture, or popular movements. When what is believed to be truth is not true, it is a LIE, and once you believe the lie, you are and have been deceived, and in fact so well deceived that it becomes a lie to believe that you have been deceived.
If that is the case, how is it possible to know what is true and not a lie? And the answer is 'Consider The Source.'
Jesus said a good tree puts out good fruit, but a bad tree evil fruit. Jesus also said that Satan is “The Father of LIES” and that he does not stand for truth nor is there any truth in him. If you want to tell truth from lies, look at the people, principles and practices that surround that idea. Are they Good & Righteous? Productive & Profitable? Are they bearing forth fruits of peace and wholeness - or diversity and division?
Friend, if you are deceived, the only way you can see truth is to turn your ears to the father of truth, and away from the father of lies.
This short message can’t do that, but you can if you decide to change your mind about what you believe and why you believe it.
There is a reliable source of truth out there, and it is from the tree that always bears GOOD FRUIT.
Seek the fruit from that tree, and you’ll always find THE TRUTH. (John 10:10)

Winston Churchill, in a fiery speech at the onset of World War 2 declared in a defiant tone that the Axis powers were in for a fight, and once defeated, that the world would “NEVER FORGET” what was done.” The same was said of the 'War To End All Wars' after World War 1, but as time and history has sadly shown, the peace and victory achieved after these horrific conflicts have instead been largely forgotten.
As today’s verse reminds us, sadly this is our tendency as people, and we need to keep in our forethought not only the lessons we have learned, but blessings we’ve been given.
Even if you are not a Christian or believer in God, be not forgetful of the good things you have SEEN and EXPERIENCED in life. Count your blessings and never forget where you have been and what you have gone through - both good and bad!
Be you with God or not, His hand is on your life. Consider this; when you take your next breath or your heart beats another beat, that is NOT of yourself but from something far greater outside of you that gives you life.
Your life is a gift! Never forget this, so as today’s scripture verse says, “Keep Your Souls Diligently.”

Sometimes things are 'hidden' from us because what we’ve heard was so preposterous as to not be believable. Such was the case with Jesus’ followers as he was about to make his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The anticipation of all was that He was the Messiah, and as the King of Israel he’d overthrow the occupying Romans and usher in the new kingdom. Instead Jesus tells them:
“The Son Of Man will be BETRAYED…they will CONDEMN him to death…and MOCK and spit on him.” Mark 10:33
As today’s verse from the Gospel of Luke implies they just 'Didn’t Get It' and ESPECIALLY did not get the many times previously that he told them that he would be crucified, die, be buried — and then Rise From The Dead.
If you are like the fellow on the right, you 'Get That' but for many like the fellow on the left, this makes absolutely no sense, and is in fact NONSENSE.
Friend, while this may seem preposterous, this is the heart of the Gospel — plain and simple:
Jesus Christ was God made man and came to earth to deliver and save us from sin and death. At the cross he died, and by the sacrifice of his blood paid the price for the sins of ALL who would simply believe and confess this as TRUE. For those that do, by his grace he gives eternal life and frees all from the condemnation of both physical and spiritual death.
Is the idea that Christ died, was raised from the dead, and now is alive TRUE?
...or is it still “Hidden From You?”

A Letter Written To And Answered by BILLY GRAHAM
DEAR MRS. S.J.: God will provide us with everything we need to be happy in Heaven -- and if animals are necessary to make us completely happy there, you can be confident He will arrange for them to be with us.
Some Bible scholars have pointed out that the Bible suggests there may be animals in Heaven -- but without the aggressiveness and dangers that are part of their lives now. The prophet Isaiah saw God’s coming Kingdom as a place of absolute peace, where even animals that had once been enemies will be friends. He wrote, (Isaiah 11:6).
Over the years, my wife and I have had many pets, and I understand your grief; we are always sad when they die. I sometimes wonder, however, if God isn’t using them to remind us of a far greater reality -- and that is the reality of our own deaths. Life is brief, and it can end in an instant. The Bible says there is "a time to be born, and a time to die" (Ecclesiastes 3:2).
That is why we must never take life for granted, but see every minute as a gift from God to be used for His glory. And if we aren’t sure of our eternal destiny, now is the time to be sure by making our commitment to Christ.

n today’s volatile world, we never know what calamity or catastrophe might happen next. But with such uncertainty about an unpredictable future should we be frightened?
The answer is NO — and here’s why…
Jesus warns us in Matthew chapter 24 that just like the time before the great flood, people would be living life to the fullest amidst a time so full of evil that the world would have to be destroyed. All had a chance to escape into the safety of the ark — But That Time Was Limited. Then the Bible says “…the door to the ark was shut” (Genesis 7:16) and those taken away were SAVED in time, but those left behind were LOST in Borrowed Time.
The Bible says that those that enter into the safety of the ark of salvation by seeing, heeding, and redeeming these evil times will be taken up in a supernatural event called “The Rapture.” This event can and will happen at ANY TIME, and while you’re still alive, you are on Borrowed Time. However, God is gracious, merciful and compassionate toward sinners! His great gifts to humanity are Grace & Mercy, and TIME to repent, TIME to believe in Him and His Son, and TIME to make a decision to do so. While His patience is long suffering — But Be Forewarned! the time that you are now living in is BORROWED TIME.
Friend, as today’s scripture verse reminds us, God is indeed slow to anger and loving, but he won’t wait for you forever. We all have only so much time left and it is indeed borrowed time.
If you have not given your life to Jesus, please do it NOW. He is waiting on you to make the most important decision you will ever make. Your time is currently borrowed.
Don’t let your time run out.

In today’s scripture God is asking Job if he has seen the gates or the shadow of death. Like Job, the answer as we walk down the road of life is 'no' but if you look over your shoulder, silently behind all of us the shadow of death gets closer and closer each day with every step we take.
We can never out-run the shadow of death. It follows in our footsteps, and one day the shadow of death will catch up to us, but despite this ominous fact there is a way to escape it!
David wrote in Psalm 23 that “Thou I walk in the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,” but those that do NOT walk with and toward God have a much different outcome as Jesus said:
“These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:46
Friend, while all of us will come to the door of Physical Death, God has provided a way of escape from SPIRITUAL DEATH and the everlasting fate of it through salvation in Christ.
Will you choose today to escape and walk towards and with God in His righteousness, or will you let the shadow of eternal death catch up to you?
