Jesus Christ Is The Most Well Known Person In History! Not Only That, But The World Even Measures Time

Jesus Christ is the most well known person in history! Not only that, but the world even measures time by the number of years since his birth, each December his birth date is at least acknowledged and often celebrated on every continent, and more books have been written, bought, and read about him than anyone that has ever lived. Yet despite this he is perceived by people in a host of very different — and even highly conflicting ways.
When asked “Who Is Jesus?” there a variety of views.
Some say he was a 'great teacher,' 'religious leader,' 'revolutionary,' 'philosopher,' or a 'community organizer.' Others however say he was a Charlatan, Faker, Magician, Deceiver, False Prophet, Liar, Lunatic, Con Man, and if so - Christ is a CLOWN.
But as Jesus himself asks directly in today’s scripture reference, is a question all must come to answer. WHY this is imperative is an essential question, and here is the answer.
If Jesus was - as some believe - a charlatan that managed to create a religion to deceive the world that there really is a 'god' and 'heaven and hell,' then he gets the prize for pulling off of the biggest cons in history...and many are in that camp. On the other hand if he was simply a great prophet/teacher/inspirational speaker as the majority of people would casually surmise (maybe even you?) then how do you dismiss not only his claims of being 'God Made Man' and also the report and testimony of him rising from the dead? And if that is true, then He is then as the Bible says the KING of glory.
You see friend, it is not just one or the other of the above. Either He really is KING CHRIST, or just a talented man that spoke well and influenced people. If it is the latter than go on your way, live as you see fit and delete or scroll past this message, but if He is the former, what are you going to do in your life about it?
Given either KING or CLOWN, which one do YOU choose?

A Letter Written To And Answered by BILLY GRAHAM
DEAR DR. GRAHAM: You probably get asked this question a lot, but do you think we will be reunited with our pets in Heaven? Our dog died recently after almost 15 years, and I just can’t imagine being happy in Heaven unless he is with us. -- Mrs. S.J.
DEAR MRS. S.J.: God will provide us with everything we need to be happy in Heaven -- and if animals are necessary to make us completely happy there, you can be confident He will arrange for them to be with us.
Some Bible scholars have pointed out that the Bible suggests there may be animals in Heaven -- but without the aggressiveness and dangers that are part of their lives now. The prophet Isaiah saw God’s coming Kingdom as a place of absolute peace, where even animals that had once been enemies will be friends. He wrote, (Isaiah 11:6).
Over the years, my wife and I have had many pets, and I understand your grief; we are always sad when they die. I sometimes wonder, however, if God isn’t using them to remind us of a far greater reality -- and that is the reality of our own deaths. Life is brief, and it can end in an instant. The Bible says there is "a time to be born, and a time to die" (Ecclesiastes 3:2).
That is why we must never take life for granted, but see every minute as a gift from God to be used for His glory. And if we aren’t sure of our eternal destiny, now is the time to be sure by making our commitment to Christ.

What do you want ADDED most to your life?
Many might think that a brand new car, a better house, a fabulous wardrobe, or a luxurious vacation will satisfy and while all these would be an enjoyable 'happening' in that moment, once that moment passes...then what?
The problem with fun, exciting or expensive things or events is that as nice as they are, they only last for a limited period of time - and then there is an end to it. It might be a new love affair, partying, or doing something exciting - or even dangerous – or any number of other treks down a road seeking happiness, but once that moment of 'Happiness' concludes, where does that road take you?
Our search in life for satisfaction places all of us at a crossroad of CHOICES. Either we choose treks for HAPPINESS or a trek for TRUTH. Given that happiness is tied to the temporary immediateness of what is happening, what does the alternative of “Truth” mean or look like?
Today’s scripture points us to seek what is 'best' in this life, and that’s when we seek that which is above in God’s kingdom, that all that we (really) want (and need) will be added.
Jesus said “I am...the TRUTH” and when you Seek First the trek down the road of HIS TRUTH, it will not be a road that ends in a singular moment, but will last for all eternity.
Which TREK are you on?

What Are Those Stupid "Jesus Saves" Signs?

Perhaps you’ve seen signs like this, usually in old run-down neighborhoods hanging from buildings that had seen better days. So this begs the question, 'If this 'Jesus Guy' is so good at SAVING, then why is the neighborhood that this sign is hanging in looks like IT hasn’t been “saved” yet?'?'
All that nonsense (of course) is coming from those naive Christians telling people that their 'imaginary friend' will (somehow?) 'save you' from HELL? Well if you feel that way, it certainly appears to be a really FOOLISH message, and if that is the case the Bible says this is exactly how many people will receive it.
The Bible, a book that has been around over 3,000 years that has been printed and read by more people in history, written about, investigated, and vetted by archaeologists, scientists, and used as a basis of law, government and morality for centuries by politicians and nations, and it has also been found by historians consistently to be TRUE. This is the BOOK that teaches “Jesus Saves” but after all that, somehow that phrase hanging on a funky red neon sign is stupid.
Well the Bible describes people that snicker at these signs when God says in HIS BOOK to the world:
“Professing themselves to be WISE, they became FOOLS.” Romans 1:22
Friend, if you feel this way, we have it on good authority that if anyone is foolish here, it is not the Bible or those that believe in it, but those that do NOT believe in it. If this offends you or rubs you the wrong way - perhaps drastically - that is 100% OK!! You see, we all have the right to feel, think or believe anything we want, so if you disagree, so be it. Don’t shoot the messenger (me) here...just reporting what this book says.
The question after reading this is will you change your mind? An interesting deep definition of the word 'repent' means exactly that! To CHANGE YOUR MIND about God!? Would you at least consider doing that today? Because this is more than just a sign - it means the SAVING of your very LIFE.

Hidden inside the spelling of the word “believe” not so coincidentally is the word “LIE,” and this raises an interesting question about the state of how belief works.
If you think about it, either you BELIEVE something or you DON’T beLIEve something — and there’s no in-between. That is, either you believe something to be true, or else it is a lie…and that is the crux of today’s scripture message.
Either Christ rose from the dead or He didn’t! It’s really that simple, and the question is 'How does one know that, and what would cause someone to come to that conclusion?”
Romans 10:17 says that “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” while Hebrews 11:1 adds to that “Faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, (and) the EVIDENCE of things not seen.” You see, BELIEF is based on EVIDENCE and that evidence is what the Word of God says. The tough question all must make is, 'Is this evidence TRUE or is it a LIE?'
No one can convince you of that, because you have to make up your own mind. Perhaps it is a LIE and if so, you can ignore, scroll past, or delete, but if it IS true and you believe it, the promise is that God will save your soul for a life in eternity.
Do you believe this or is it a lie? YOU CHOOSE

Who do you run to when bad things happen? Is it your husband, your wife or best friend? Sometimes even the ones we trust the most and who try their best to offer sound advice, still may lack the vital answers we may need. The Book of Psalms shares how David ran to God in the midst of his fears, sorrows, grief, rejection and loss. Now we can run to Jesus who fulfills the deepest cries of our heart in our own emotional turmoil. Jesus is the ONE who has the answers you need, so…….
Run to Jesus when you are AFRAID: God is never off guard. His eye is always upon you.
“The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and coming in from this time forth and forevermore.” Psalm 121: 7-8
Run to Jesus in your SORROW: Jesus knew sorrow more than you and I can imagine as he suffered for our sins on the cross crying out to His Father:
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46
Run to Jesus if you are REJECTED: Jesus knows what it feels like to abandoned, alone and turned away. His own people rejected Him.
“My father and mother may abandon me, but the Lord will take care of me.” Psalm 27:10
Run to Jesus when there is LOSS: Whether it is loss of a loved one, a dream, or anything else, Jesus understands the emptiness of loss. He wept with grief for his dear friend, Lazarus who died. He reminds us,
“I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you.” John 14:18
My dear friend, you are never alone in this life. You have Jesus to run to for everything, no matter what it is. If you don’t know Him, would you pray this prayer with me?
Heavenly Father, I have tried everything to solve my problems alone, but I need you to show me your answers. I want to depend on you to help me. Would you please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart so that I can live in heaven with you forever? I give my heart to you right now and accept you as my Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen
My friend, you don’t have to solve any problem alone. Jesus will help you. If you sincerely prayed this prayer, your sins are forgiven and your name is written in the Book of Life!
