Something that's been on my mind about Elden Ring is that the world had been broken, demigods went to war and broke the world, the goddess holding everything together is gone.

Up rises the Tarnished, riding through the land, taking on monsters, giants, demons, dragons - becoming more and more powerful. Soon enough they're powerful enough to take on demigods and Old Powers.

You, as the Tarnished, are doing this. Riding around, slaying all enemies before you, including weak npcs.

And it had me thinking, in the time of gods and monsters, your fame and legend is rising.

Imagine those schlubby npcs - peasants, nobles, weak soldiers, slain by the Tarnished.

To them, your Tarnished has become as powerful as Margit or Godrick. YOU are a legend, a myth come to life. Their lives mean nothing to you, just fodder if they try to attack.
