This is Gaida!! I heard that Twitter have been unstable these days.. so I've decided to create a tumblr account as a backup to store some of my work over here.

Hello to everyone on Tumblr! I'm Gaida the Duck!! A huge Yume Nikki + Fangames fan and indie games enjoyer! I create some short video for the games I like. Sometimes I doodle and make game.

Mini explanation for how I color. Please note this isn't a how to or tutorial, just an explanation for how I do it. fyi i never claimed to be good at explaining things ;-;

1- Lay down flats + Lock layer opacity

This makes it so you don't have to worry about accidentally coloring outside of area

2- Basic Shadows

Lots of triangular shapes in general areas shadows would be [under/behind other hair & along bottom]. I find that going darker + more vibrant + towards colder colors works best for me.

3- More details to shadows. I like to use hatching for certain parts. Also add a slightly blue-ish color. An easy way to do this is selecting a blue around the same darkness and using a brush with opacity that's pressure sensitive. Color used - How it comes out

4- Screen tones in a really vibrant color and done! Hope this helps~

Got courage to upload some stuff to pixiv and suck at titles so just used this heh.
