" Ah, Glen. I am on my way to visit Alice-chan. She sure looks like Lacie, don't you think? I even mistook her for Lacie on our first encounter last week..."

She did look like Lacie....a lot like her. The way she smiles, the way she laughs...even her mannerisms were similar, but she was also different. Unlike Lacie she wasn't born with blood red eyes that caused misfortune. She didn't have to experience the hatred of the world. She didn't have to think about how she was going to die young or how the only person who actually cared about her would be the one to take her life...Alice didn't have to go through any of that. Unlike Lacie she was safe, and most importantly she was happy.

So, why was Jack bringing this up? Does he think that Alice could replace her? However He couldn't see Jack trying to replace Lacie even though Alice did resemble her. He still wasn't so sure....Jack saying he mistook her for Lacie is a bit concerning. Perhaps he should start accompanying him when he visits Alice. No, he was overthinking this Jack wouldn't do anything inappropriate even if he was starting to view her as Lacie. That aside he still wasn't going to entertain the idea of him trying to replace Lacie if that was his intention.
