Everything I Wanted 2/2 (F!Reader x Todoroki)

soulmate Au! Where your soulmate tattoo appears on your wrist after you touch your soulmate for the first time.
F!reader x Todoroki
F!Reader x Bakugou (brotp)
Plot: the reader is Todorokiâs soulmate. Todoroki rejected reader because he thought he was in love with Momo and didnât want to let fate dictate his life. Now the two of them have a conversation that was long over due.
Part one
Before getting on with the story I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who reblogged and liked part one, it means the world to me that there is people out there who enjoyed my writing, and a big thank you to @dillybuggg and to @power-house-fan12 for encouraging me to write another part sending so much love to you guys!!! đđđ
âSomeday?â
âSomeday.â
"Todoroki-san, I met my soulmate."
"oh."
" I think we should come clean to our classmates, i really want to see where this goes"
Todoroki couldnât blame her. They were foolish to think their puppy love could stand strong against fate.
Todoroki and Momo had been walking on eggshells around each other during their first year at UA. They were attracted to each other even though they werenât each otherâs destined partner. Trust them they checked, they had been so hopeful only for it to crumble when their left wrists were still void of black Ink even after they had their first kiss.
They had been laying low with their blossoming relationship until the fateful day Shoto and (y/n) first touched.
Shoto didnât know what to think of (l/n). She didnât stand out as a person or a hero in training, so when they were paired up on a project there seemed to be a never ending silence between them, with his lack of social skills and her lack of- well everything they didnât even know where to begin. After a couple of awkward questions about what they wanted to do, they were able to get started, and he thought then that (l/n) wasnât so bad, but when he dropped his pencil and they both reached for it, thatâs when it all went south. He remembers the stinging feeling he felt on his wrist and couldnât help flinching at the uncomfortable sensation.
He didnât need to look at his wrists to know what had happened and he didnât need to think twice before grabbing his things and giving a quiet excuse for his sudden need to be very far away from (l/n).
It wasnât until he was locked away safely in his room that he dared look at his wrist, and there it was in bold black ink, in a surprisingly illegible yet legible font, how does someone achieve that? â(Y/n) (l/n)â.
Heâs not quite sure how long he stared at it, but he knows that by the time he was able to organize his thoughts there were birds chirping out side welcoming the new day.
He had rejected her.
She had been okay with it.
He didnât tell Momo who his soulmate was, but he did tell her that he didnât want to continue hiding their relationship. What was stopping them from sharing their happiness with the rest of the class? Momo believed they would be looked down on for not waiting on their soulmates. It wasnât common for people to date anyone who wasnât their soulmate, it was even more uncommon to reject a soulmate, but look at him, he did it and he was perfectly fine- they were perfectly fine.
Momo was the one who came up with the idea to draw on their soulmate tattoos, unaware of the fact that there already was a name on Todorokiâs wrist, unaware of the pain she was causing to that other half.

Coming clean to their classmates had gone surprisingly well, and Todoroki wasnât sure how he felt about that, about that fact that (y/n) didnât yell or question him on the why.
Why had he lied?
Why had he covered her up like she was something not worth looking at?
Why did he rub his relationship in her face?
Why not give them a chance if he was gonna chase something temporary?
Instead she had looked him in the eyes and gifted him a soft smile.
After everyone had scattered around the common area after their announcement, Todoroki decided to sit outside and take a breather.
He couldnât help but sigh.
Thinking back to the day he and (y/n) first touched, he wished he hadnât been such a coward.
He wished he had given her a chance to speak, because looking back now he realized that he did all the talking, he called all the shots not giving her a say in the matter.
She followed his wishes and yet he canât help but want to be selfish and take it all back.
He had been wrong to think she had been lacking anything because she was everything. She was perfect to him, for him.
He couldnât help the chuckle that escaped him.
Fate had told him she was his, a gift from the universe to cherish and like a spoiled brat he threw it away, ruined it. âSeems to run in the familyâ, he thought bitterly.
(Y/n) (L/n) was everything he wanted and he didnât deserve her.
The worst part was that the person who helped him realize that was the hotheaded blonde of 1-A (now 2-A).
He was the one who brought out the best in (y/n) or maybe the only one who had bothered to listen, who had bothered to truly see her.
Todoroki couldnât help but resent him for it yet he was grateful, because without Bakugou pushing her to open up, he would have never realized that he had shut the door on something beautiful without opening it.
âWhy are you out here? Curfew is in 20 minutesâ he heard her soft voice.
He didnât reply and he felt her sit beside him on the stairs.
And there was silence.
What could he possibly say now?
Im sorry? That seemed too shallow
âItâs okay you know?â She began.
He finally listened.
âIâll be honest, it had hurt- you had hurt me when you shut me out without giving me a chance to prove myself worthy of being on your wrist. I questioned if it had been something I did, something I didnât do, or if it had been my appearance that had caused you to utter those words. Bakugou told me that it shouldnât be something I beat myself over, that if it had been me that you would have told me, but you didnât. You just told me that your heart belonged to anotherâ
She stopped and finally looked at him, and he at her.
â Im sorry things between you two didnât work out how you wanted them to-â she had began, but he didnât let her finish.
âDonât. Itâs not your fault, itâs mine. I thought I knew what I wanted and if Iâm being honest I think I just wanted to be able to choose at least one thing for myself.â He said without thinking, it was time he stopped hiding from the truth, the selfish truth he hid under his not so pure love for Momo.
âEver since I was born I have been nothing but a tool for my father. The just right child with the just right quirk. I wasnât allowed to spend time with my siblings, I wasnât allowed to play, I wasnât allowed to make my own decision. It was always my father, and then I found out I wasnât able to choose who I wanted to be with because apparently fate did that, so I would question what it is that I got to decide for myself
because if fate and my father made the decisions then what was I left with? What part of my life was actually mines for the taking?â He looked at the ground unable to continue meeting her eyes.
âSo even if itâs not enough I do apologize, (y/n), for thinking so selfishly that I didnât take into consideration the fact that you didnât choose me either and that I didnât try to make it easier for the both of usâ he said clenching his fist to keep some sort of anchor on his mess of emotions.
Todoroki felt a small hand (or at least smaller that his own) lay on top of his own.
âMaybe weâve both been going about this the wrong way? So what if we have each otherâs name on our wrist? that doesnât mean we should get married next weekâ (y/n) said in an attempt to lighten his load, to let him know that he didnât need to beat himself over it just like she didnât need to.
â letâs just start as friends and see how things go and then maybe someday who knowsâ she shrugged her shoulders casually and flashed him a smile.
Todoroki looked at her and she at him.
He relaxed his hand that was underneath her and let himself hold her hand.
âSomeday?â He asked
âSomedayâ she grinned.
(Y/n) cleared her throat and held her hand out for a handshake making him raise an eyebrow
âHi my name is (y/n) (l/n) letâs be friendsâ
âIâm Shoto ToïżŒdoroki, and I would like that very muchâ
â Iâm Aizawa, the teacher and you two need to get to bedâ
âYes sir!â

Girl I've been stalking ur page I'm so sorry bahahah don't worry I'm not spamming u lol. But I saw this and like- don't. I mean it. It's ex for a reason. Also really depends how long were you separated and how long were you together? Have they changed? Did they get with anyone else when u were separated, cause if so they considered it freedom and a break and they don't love you. Honestly hon if you feel lonely watch some horror movies and God forbid don't u dare read angst or love fanfics lol. I love studying after a relationship ends,, it's perfect timing. But honestly it's up to you. Just never give someone four chances ever. Three is pushing it ahah
i need you guys to talk to me cause i am so close to texting my ex back and getting back with him.
Yesss except I don't post mine because mine are more like word barf with good plot lmao

fuck a break up, have you ever gotten emotionally attached to a scene and then realized it doesnât work so you have to remove it from your story
Or when they're barely even a side character like one line tops đ no hate to the authors that do this it's just annoying. There's this one fic I read where there's three gojo tags and the only time he was even MENTIONED was when the female characters bf (ngl I forgot the character it was about-) walked away with gojo after the reader and readers bf broke up. Thinking an it now it was probably a suguru fic. The line was literally 'And the last thing I saw was him and the white haired douche walking away' or something like that đ man y'all my manz gojo would never cheat frfr he's in a deep relationship with diabetes he don't have time for that.
Why do people feel the need to tag everything on a post that has nothing to do with the thing iâm looking for. Why am I seeing Sakuna, Toji, Nanami, and Suguru when I just want Gojo?
No I donât meant those post that has all of them included, I mean, why am I seeing a Sakuna fic when Iâm in the Gojo tag and the fic has nothing to do with Gojo?? Why canât people just keep to the tags. What does Gojo have to do with Sakuna or Toji

DADDYS HOMEEEEEEEE.

Hold on a minute while I bring myself back to earth omg. I love this sm!! This is definitely one of the top five fics I've ever read! When they meet my heart is racing and ik it shouldn't but it was hot how he was all 'tuff lol. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE ADDITIONAL RANDOM PUNS SPREAD ACROSS THE FIC!!! And the chocolate thing was so cute! I hate dark chocolate not going to lie, but it was adorable how they were opposites!! AND THEY ACTUALLY HAVE REASONS TO LOVE EACH OTHER GRADUALLY UNLIKE THE SUDDEN LOVE OF OTHER FICS!!! And I just knew there was gonna be a snu snu scene because of the fact that she took geto's bag (I don't read warnings, ikik) I love love love apocalypse and world ending things so yayyy this was great!! Thanks for the lovely fic!!

summary: when a disease turns the world into an apocalyptic landscape, you join a group in order to survive. you find yourself drawn to a certain blue-eyed man for no explainable reason. though the two of you have your own pasts to deal with, the two of you grow closer and closer together. after all, it seems as though youâre the only lovers left alive
pairing: gojo satoru x fem!reader
genre: post apocalypse au, strangers to friends to lovers, slight angst, fluff, smut, some hurt comfort, inspired by some of the events from the last of us
word count: 16k+
warnings: 18+ mdni, some heavy-ish themes, mentions of suicide, smut, heavy making out, fingering, vaginal penetration, cum eating, slight begging, gojo is a teeny bit of a dick but overall just doesnât know how to handle emotions
note: i did take some inspo from the last of us, so if you see something you might recognize, itâs because i most likely based something off of it. nothing too major though, but the infected here are like the ones in the game/show. i donât want any comments saying i stole the idea bc i stg iâll just combustÂ
also a thank you for @jadeisthirstingâ for beta-reading again, love her!

You were glad that chocolate bars survived the apocalypse.Â
Those, along with chips (you donât look at expiration dates anymore), crackers, and protein bars seemed to stand the tests of time.Â
The abandoned convenience store was harshly run down. The glass was shattered, and you could hear the crunch of shards underneath your boots whenever you walked up and down the aisles. Vegetation took reign in most of the area, and vines grew alongside the walls and the counters. Weeds sprung through the cracks in the floor and long blades of grass peeked in from the outside.Â
A lot of the aisles were already ransacked from those who came before, but you had to admit that this place was in much better condition food-wise than all the others you had seen. You loaded your cart with whatever you could find; cereal, bars, chips, instant ramen, jerky, really anything that wasnât perishable by your standards.Â
You also made sure to stock up on medical supplies while you were here. Antiseptic, rolls of bandages, needles for stitching, medical tape. You were able to find a bottle of disinfectant and some rubbing alcohol, so you spent a couple of minutes cheering over the small victory.Â
The rays of sun that peeked through and washed out certain parts of the store a quiet orange made it seem more serene than it actually was, and you took your time as you leaned on the cart handle, walking slowly as you tried to pretend like you were just shopping for amenities like you would years ago, without the fear of the outside world trying to hunt you down the moment you stepped out.Â
Under your breath you hummed a soft tune, letting your fingers run over the empty shelves as you looked around.Â
Many opened boxes littered the ground. None of them were to your benefit so you just stepped over them, tapping something on your arm to keep your mind busy. It was only noon, so you had a couple of hours to waste before it got dark.
Though you had the hunting rifle near you in case anything popped out in front of you, you liked to pretend that there was no danger when you rounded a corner. It saved a little naive part of your mind to imagine that everything was normal when you knew that it wasnât. Â
ââŠyeah, no, no, I agree, I justâŠâÂ
You stopped in your tracks, air hitching in your throat as you went rigid upon hearing the muffled voices.Â
âI heard the bunkers in Kyoto and Osaka fellâŠradio transmission,â It was a female voice, that much you could make out. But assessing the sound of feet shuffling on the floor and the other sounds, you knew there had two be at least two people, maybe even more.Â
You couldnât even remember the last time you had heard somebody speak. You tried to remember, raking your mind for when it was, and it must have been months ago, maybe even a year, and that was just a small encounter. You doubted the guy even saw you. And this is far worse, they closed and you have nowhere to hide without making a sound. They could be raiders or scavengers. One of them could be infected without the otherâs knowledge. Millions of thoughts ran through your head as you tried to rationalize with yourself.
âWhat happened to the one in Nara?â This time it was a male voice, and much closer than before. They were probably only a few aisles away until they reached you. You could feel your heart beating uncontrollably fast, rattling against your ribcage as your mind faltered on what to you.Â
âTheyâre not letting people inside. They deter anybody unless you have a pre-bought cabin there.â The first woman replied, and you could hear some glass clanking as she kicked an empty beer bottle (from what you could deduce), across the floor.Â
âHow do you know so much?â Another male asked. Three so far, you made a mental note as you tried shoving all your food and things in any pocket you could find, shoving the big bottle of rubbing alcohol down your shirt to nestle on your bra. You didnât risk your life trying to find this place just to have some strangers take the things you so desperately need.
âThey play messages on the radio at night. If you didnât go to sleep so fuckinâ fast you might hear something useful.â The first girl said, but there was no bite to her voice. She even chuckled, and you swore one of the other guys laughed too.Â
âWhy canât we just stay where we are? We havenât seen any infected here.â Four. This time it was another girlâs voice. So far, two females and two males. You were severely outnumbered. You doubted you were that skilled, even in all your years, to surpass four people. Â
Deciding to leave a few bars behind, you gingerly moved past the cart, making sure not to make a sound as you tiptoed across the broken bottles and glass. You held your breath and tried to hold onto your jacket, not wanting anything to fall out.Â
You tried to phase out whatever they were saying so you could stay focused. You squinted your eyes as rays of the sun blinded you when they peeked through some cracks in the ceiling. You shuffled slowly and precisely, your heart quite literally beating in your throat as moved around the debris on the floor.Â
You could see the double doors, both open as you let out an inaudible sigh of relief when you saw them, a promise that you werenât going to die right here when-
CRUNCH.
You stopped, eyes slowly falling down to the comically large piece of glass under your foot, now shattered into a million pieces as you stop breathing. You wait for abated second, thinking nobody heard until you heard some clattering coming from behind you.Â
