Tuesday

Sighing loudly Yoonji sits down on her seat and takes out her math book. The only reason why she even bothers to show up at school is cause of you. Sometimes you hang with her during lunch, but otherwise she doesn’t really interact with you, choosing to admire you from afar, afraid that her emotions might be seen.

As Yoonji puts down her book, the classroom door slams open and there you stand , in all your glory.

‘’Look who has arrived’’ one classmate shouts ‘’Godzilla’’

You laugh slightly ‘’Shut up ugly, this is why you don’t have a girlfriend.’’

As you join your friends , yoonji’s watching you, You tower over of your female friends and the black haired girl notices short the skirt is and how the knee socks wrap themselves snuggly around your thighs.  

You feel eyes burning on the back of your head and turn around to find the culprit  who is starring at you holes into the back of your head, when you make eye contact with yoonji. Instead of averting her eyes, she keeps looking at you and you raise an eyebrow. Two can play this game and you’re not about to lose. For almost an uncomfortable time you’re both starring at each other, the teacher comes in and slams his book on the table, thats when you avert your gaze and look at him. Yoonji smirks, she won, for now.

step one: encountering; quick glances; a brief exchange of words.

Jeon Jungkook strolls into class with a light bounce in his step for a reason you have yet to acquire. You’re already seated at your usual place; he walks until he’s standing in front the table right behind yours. You hear the familiar sound of metal legs of the chair being dragged lightly across the floor. He plops his bag on the floor with an attention-grabbing ‘thud!’, and takes a seat.

Oh?

So, yeah, he’s officially the only person who’s lingering presence will manage to divert your attention from the teacher to other things in a jiffy. And now that his lingering presence is right behind you, you’re officially doomed.

Just great.

You sigh.

You met Jeon Jungkook in your freshman year of high school, approximately two years ago. Ever since that first class you had together, he made it a point to walk into class with his signature bunny-toothed smile everyday, and you’ve always wondered how on earth he manages to stay so bright and outspoken and outgoing all the time. He looks the same today – a smile plastered on his perfect angelic face while clad in ripped jeans, a plain tee and a button-up on top (with the buttons undone, of course).

But there is just one minor – okay, no, major – detail about him which never fails to strike you each time the thought occurs to you. You just can’t seem to process it; your brain literally goes: “Error 404. Unable to process information.”
