👖- Oh, gosh, Ka/veh is definitely one to be too proud to loosen his belt or adjust his pants while in public. He'll neeeever admit it's too tight and painful, even if everyone can clearly see his belly pressing and rounding up over his belt, looking like it's going to just burst open any second. (And considering the design of that belt, man, it must hurt.) He will suffer through it so much. But the instant he's home, he's yanking it off and letting out the biggest sigh of relief as his tummy swells forward, finally free of its confines. Then he finds somewhere to lie down and rub at the sore red lines where the pressure was just too much at his waistband. The feeling of relief is just immensely satisfying.

🤢- I believe he mentions not liking food that's too spicy, and I feel like even things with a little "kick" to them, even if they're not too spicy for him to eat, just sometimes make him feel off. Heartburn happens to him fairly easily, and the spice causes him to have to burp more frequently than normal, and possibly press a hand to his belly to help it settle. Really only one plate of something with spice is all he can handle.

🫄- It doesn't happen *too* often, but probably more often than "normal". Ka/veh ends up stuffing himself most often when he's concentrating very hard on a design or dealing with some stressful work, and snacking at the same time. He'll empty boxes full of snacks and not even realize how much he's eaten until either he's finished his work, or the pain of the bellyache snaps him out of concentration. Ha/itham will definitely scold him for going through a few days' worth of food in one night, but he never learns, lol. Another less common situation when he tends to overeat, is just after getting paid. If it's been a particularly lucrative job, he likes to celebrate by splurging on a very large dinner, letting himself have whatever he wants, and chowing down until he's so full, he has to walk home slowly, cradling a swollen and gurgling belly and groaning with regret at his own overindulgence.

as his affinity for this is obvious, naturally, a very common gift for him to receive is food. that’s why s1egwennie always making him those milkshakes (even if the taste is dubious), or why n3uvillette always goes out of his way to find the best tea for him (even if it’s not “homemade”, the amount of thought is very appreciated) - he’s the epitome of “the quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.”

all these little acts of affection - like the chocolates cl0rinde brings him whenever she visits meropide, or the slices of cake he indulges in with fur1na - all add up quite fast on his body.

he’s not skinny anymore. he hasn’t been for a while, ever since he finally had a good support structure of loved ones to rely one, and the chubbiness that coats his body is a constant reminder of how much he’s loved. every pound of body fat on him is a meal or snack that was thoughtfully made or even picked by someone he loves.

Wg as healing is the best trope you're so real for that... This is a little idea I kinda want to turn into a fic but tbh I don't know if I'll ever do it lmao, as Wrio grew up in rough conditions, never having enough to eat, I like to think that he might have developed an habit of overeating, especially at big events like banquets or holiday dinnners, in wich there's so much food available, and as he went hungry for so long, his mind just tells him that he has to make the most out off it because he doesn't know if he'll have to go though another period of lack of food after that. That doesn't really ever happen, but its just the mindset he has since young and he can't seem to get rid off that habit. To make it more into a healing situation, maybe at said events Neuvi often notices Wrio struggling with his clothes being tight after eating a little too much, gives him a belly rub in private, and at the end of the day is more of a reminder of him being in a safer state, where he gets to eat his fill and has someone to take care of him
