I’m a queer artist currently just doing my thing, and improving my skills. My hope is to eventually start entering my art into local galleries and art competitions, but for now I’m just supporting myself with commissions. :)

Are you okay with people taking your art and turning it into personal use earrings with shrinky dinks? I found a ton of cool stuff on pinterest and I doubt I can contact all the artists but I want to make some cool earrings and hair clips so I'm asking artists to get a good idea on whether or not it's okay! btw under no circumstances am I gonna say the art is mine or sell it. That's just plain ol art theft. Just trying to figure out if this is too :)

I mean, as long as you aren’t planning on selling them, it’s not something I would personally mind. Although I’d definitely recommend you try and find the artists you can, if nothing else so you can direct people towards them if asked about the art yknow? Although if someone ever did that with my art that’s something I’d wanna see!

So tldr: In my case, I think it’s generally fine to do, but it’s really a case by case basis.
