there seems to be a whole lot of light/dark contrast in the new trailer. a plot point that wasn’t discussed as much was the discrimination against magic, which was a conflict with hex tech. and they’ve brought foreign nations into it.

so who is it that’s had experiences with light, and the arcane, and magical discrimination, and is from a foreign nation, and has been shown to have a history with a main character?
