COVID is slowly becoming a “third world” disease. While first world countries are hoarding vaccines, having doses for populations many times their size, third world countries can’t get any because pharma companies want to sell to the first world countries first. Even then, first world countries will receive them first. While rich countries recover from COVID, they will forget about the pandemic while many other countries live the absolute worst moment of the pandemic without being able to vaccinate their population.

Just to be clear:
My advocacy for the preservation of minority languages has nothing to do with the fact that they are interesting/fascinating/any other adjective of that nature
Minority languages deserve protection because they are important, and they are valuable
The worth of a minority language is not determined by the entertainment it can provide to outsiders
While I believe that all languages are beautiful and unique, it shouldn't matter that a language is ugly, or boring or "useless"
Yes, Celtic folk music is beautiful, but that is not the reason for preserving Celtic languages

I like to this off with, I have been hired at a job. If you been keeping up with my journey . I’ve been working my ass off and right now this part of waiting for a direct deposit is absolutely annoying. I told myself I would only come back for emergencies and boost other posts. However my son and I are hungry. I’m at .51 cents ☹️
I’m not too sure how much to ask for because I don’t even feel comfortable enough to write this (I had a bad day) If anybody has the funds to spare enough so we can eat. That will be amazing. It’s been such a tiring process trying to get back into the swing of working especially during this pandemic. I wish I had the funds for us :(

Help me get the speciality glasses I need for my disability
Hi friends here I am doing the thing I hate
I’m a disabled queer enby with Scotopic Sensitivity Disorder, which means that I need speciality lenses.
Unfortunately they’re expensive. They cost £150/$208 just for the tint. I’ve been putting up with my current pair being scratched and the wrong prescription for a while now
But now they’ve broken. The arm snapped off and they are being wonkily glued together.
I lost my job at the start of the pandemic, and my family and I are barely scraping by. It’s impossible for me to afford a new pair of glasses without help.
