John Munch — Munch + kids
Cassidy: So why didn’t you ever have kids? Didn’t want the responsibility? Munch: I wouldn’t want to give a kid the responsibility of me.
i really hate the effect our hypersexualized society has on young girls. do you know how fucked up it is for an 11 year old girl to be scared of heterosexual sex because she thinks its inevitable? when i was 11, guys told me it would be painful, that penetration was mandatory, and that guys will want blowjobs. when i said i didnt want to do that ever, everyone made fun of me, and my parents told me i’d want that when i got older. guys always look forward to sex but little girls not even in their teens yet are anticipating it in fear because they think it’s mandatory for them to experience pain and humiliation to please men honestly what the fuuuck

Eleanor: What? No, I didn’t. I said, “Thanks, man!”
Michael: Do you see me as a father figure, Eleanor?
Eleanor: No! If anything, I see you as a BOTHER figure, because you’re always BOTHERING me.
Tahani: Hey, show your father some respect!

What’s so special about her? She’s different. Different how? I don’t know. Yes, you do.

This is a summary of college only using two pictures; expensive as hell.
That’s my Sociology “book”. In fact what it is is a piece of paper with codes written on it to allow me to access an electronic version of a book. I was told by my professor that I could not buy any other paperback version, or use another code, so I was left with no option other than buying a piece of paper for over $200. Best part about all this is my professor wrote the books; there’s something hilariously sadistic about that. So I pretty much doled out $200 for a current edition of an online textbook that is no different than an older, paperback edition of the same book for $5; yeah, I checked. My mistake for listening to my professor.
This is why we download.

Okay, so I’ve talked before about how much I love the mortal ducklings following Lilith around, and how I theorise that not only does Lilith enjoy this and have an unexpected attachment to them, but that she particularly likes Theo, for several reasons. But this scene just is the epitome of all that goodness.
I mean first, we have them walking in. Look how they follow her, and look how confident Roz is that shit is gonna get fixed, look how close Theo is to Lilith

This team are ready to beat a guy down and they have assigned Lilith as their leader and she has accepted, she is marching forward here to ACTUALLY DO HER JOB AS PRINCIPAL. NO EVIL OR ULTERIOR MOTIVE, SHE IS LITERALLY HELPING OUT HER STUDENTS?? AND SHE LOOKS FOCUSED AND DETERMINED ABOUT IT??

the power shot. they look like a freaking gang, and i freaking love it. Roz and Theo look especially confident and boss ass bitch next to Lilith, and Lilith just looks ready to tear down a man on behalf of these mortals. This is Lilth on her own, no Satan, no Sabrina, no plots, just Lilith left to her own devices. And she’s using that alone time to get Theo on the basketball team

Theo looks like they know exactly what is going to come next. They’re just like ‘You forced my hand, coach, and I have brought the big guns’ this is a person who looks smug about their favourite teacher also being the boss and on their side. coach is about to be taken down.

Lilith is all professionally confrontational here. She’s all calm and using just the fact she’s principal to make her point. She’s a queen of a tiny mortal kingdom and theo has asked her to use that power…and she is. she looks half teacher half mom-who-is-gonna-get-her-kid-on-the-team. Her clothes emphasize this I think.

And then Theo is looking at Lilith with such confidence and smugness, which is like half my teacher gets shit done, but also has half the vibe ‘mom totally sorted it’. Lilith is their school mom, and school mom doing well.

doing very well indeed in making work-child even more smug. And look how smug Roz is too. These two are just like ‘knew Principal Wardwell would sort this and now you look like an idiot, coach’. Lilith spends her free time making mortal students all smug and pleased and realising their high-school-based dreams.

And then we have Lilith all challengingly smug, like yep, we done here? Not gonna dare argue with me? Theo gets to try out, I will not negotiate. Or are you going to deny them this and then I have to eat you and find a new coach?

Roz looking all smug at the badassery and how this has played out. Sabrina may have had Ms Wardwell as her favourite teacher, but I think her friends seem to have Lilith as their favourite

And it doesn’t end there. LILITH GOES TO THEO’S FREAKING TRYOUT. THERE’S NO REASON FOR HER TO GO HERE. SHE DOESN’T KNOW SABRINA WILL BE THERE, THERE’S NOTHING RELEVANT TO HER WORK HERE, SHE IS LITERALLY TAKING TIME OUT OF HER OFFICE AND FREE TIME TO GO SEE THEO PLAY BASKETBALL

AND SHE ACTUALLY FREAKING LOOKS SERIOUS AS HELL FOCUSING ON THEM. mama duck does not want duckling to fail.

And look she is genuinely surprised to hear Sabrina. She turned up for Theo and Sabrina was just a work-bonus.

here end’th my shouting and flailing.
