One thing i liked about s1 clone high is that some clone's are obviously very different from their clone parents while some seem more similar to them and the show kind of explains why. With Gandhi, he felt there was a lot of pressure to live up to the original, and so he buckled under the pressure and decided to be chaotic and unpredictable all the time (as revealed in S1E1). With Joan, her reason is similar; Joan of Arc was a selfless hero who heard God's voice. Joan, feeling she couldn't live up to that, became a stubborn teenage goth girl (as revealed in the ADD episode - S1E3 i think?). It's even show Joan has a slight fear of being burned to death like her clone mother was (shown in the John D'arc episode).

Idk much about the original Cleopatra, but it can be assumed Cleo's personality developed from Cleopatra being known as a beautiful and a powerful leader, giving Cleo a kind of ego boost.

As for Abe and JFK, the two of them seems to be the most similar-ish to their clone parent. With Abe, it's seen he feels a lot of pressure to be a replica of his clone parent (seen in the "storm's a brewing" and the raisins episode).

However, with JFK, not much of an explanation is given for why he acts the way he does, but it's shown he has a softer more caring side (seen in the season finale when he comforts Joan and let's her know how cool she is). From this, it can kinda be assumed that JFK, like the other clones, felt the same pressure to live up to their clone parents, which is why he acts like a "macho, womanizing stud".

If the show had given the characters more development, it would of been interesting to see JFK develop and not feel this need to be an exact replica of his clone father and realise what he wants and likes. This would have been great potential and a great build up for JoanFK. but yk, the writers hate them so that was never gonna happen

It's quite upsetting that in s2 how none of the newer clones or older clones were shown how they felt about their clone parents. It would have been interesting to perhaps see Frida have an existential crisis about if the only reason she likes art is bc of her clone parent or perhaps see more of why she likes art and how she discovered her passion for it, if maybe at first she avoided it bc she didn't want to be a copy and paste of someone and wanted to be her own person and discover herself. And with Harriet, maybe to see if she felt pressure to live up her clone parent, with how Harriet Tubman is remembered as one of the most influential historical icons and how she helped to free slaves via the underground railway. But ofc, the Clone High reboot is a dumpster fire who doesn't really care about the characters and their depth or development, and only about making Joan x Abe endgame.
