from a purely aesthetic standpoint i adoreeeeee shoes and boots and fun socks and its whack so much gt is ankle up only because people are deathly avoiding the f**t f*tish allegations. like i totally get it, but also i feel like we are in a Victorian era where the sight of ankles elicits gasps and fainting from the entire town

okay so in Pride and Prejudice 2005, it is a very tense situation between the two romantic leads, which I won’t get into bc if you don’t know then you should just go watch the movie its so good. ANYWAYS when Darcy first makes physical contact with Lizzy, extending a hand to help her up into a carriage, the camera focuses on his hand as he walks away and how he flexes it.

it’s such a Moment, showing the feelings Darcy is not otherwise outwardly expressing. it perfectly captures the charged energy you feel in your skin when touching someone you have tension with, how your own body doesn’t feel the same after fleetingly getting contact with theirs

so now I’m imagining a g/t scenario, with a tiny and a giant who are far from friendly but do have to interact, and who have some charged unresolved tension between them. some instance happens where the giant has to briefly move the tiny - rescuing them from something, helping them get to a higher place - and they set down the tiny immediately after. the tiny is in their palm so fleetingly, and the giant quickly takes their leave.

but they can’t help but flex their hand. trying to get the tingling energy out of it, the warmth to go away. trying to lose the feeling of that tiny body curled up in their giant hand.

trying to ignore how much they liked it.

Pirate captain with a pirate captain hat befriending a fairy and when they need tve fairy to chill out or something they just put the hat on top of the fairy so the fairy can't fly away

a giant wearing gloves. tight leather gloves that accentuate their hands and every movement they make. the giant needing to stash you away for a second, so they slip you into said glove, right against their palm. pressed tight by the fabric, able to feel the giant’s pulse, every twitch of their fingers, every crease of the leather around you.
