A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Performed by the Original Practice Shakespeare Festival on Midsummer 2024 at the summit of Mt. Tabor, Portland Or

I performed as Peter Quince, the director of the mechanicals, and fun fact no one knew who they would be performing until the audience chose our roles an hour before show time! All of our costumes were thrown together last minute with what everyone had brought.

shoutout doyers street/bloody angle for giving me this idea two years ago. and the retj musicals for being the inspo for the personifications of love & death :) i was going to set it sometime in the 60’s-80’s, but i’d have to do tons of research first. mostly this is just an excuse to finally read the chinese copy of r&j i bought last summer. and that’s basically all there is to it (jk there actually IS lore i just haven’t thought about it too deeply yet!!)
