i don’t hear about it as much anymore, but back when people (*cough* conservative white dudes) were complaining about humor becoming “politically correct”…you know that humor only exists in the context of the culture that surrounds it, right? and of its audience? what was funny, or acceptable, or relevant 10, or 50, or 100 years ago, isn’t the same as what’s funny now. that’s just…how culture works.
